I've eaten here quite a few times...every time I have a great experience and the food always.tastes so good. This time I built my own burger..medium rare of course with American cheese, fried jalapenos, sauteed mushrooms and an egg. This time I also requested no bun and to only have lettuce wrapped and they were able to do that. I never have eaten a burger here without the bun but, it was just as good if not tastier because I could taste the meat more, it wasn't hiding behind the bun. Tje green chile mayo topped off the greatness. We also ordered sweet potato fries that come with a delicious maple dipping sauce ( You have to try the sweet potato fries this is a must!) They do have a bar here however I'm assuming they do not have their liquor license because all drinks are made with wine. I highly recommend their burgers..they are amazing!
Do you like beer and burgers? This is the place for you! If you like em dark like me, be sure to try the Paint It Black, one of my favorite beers of all time. This is one of the only places I still go to in ABQ, great service in this city is hard to come by, but on each of the dozens of times we’ve come here it never fails to please. Be sure to get some green Chile mayo to dip your fries too 😉
5 Star Burgers is my go to burger spot. I love the West Central location's atmosphere & their amazing happy hour specials. Their sliders are filling and the sides hit the spot. I recommend trying their green chili ranch-it's perfect to dip fried pickles or smear on your burger/slider. The service is always great and super friendly.
Best F@#$!&G Burgers in NM! This is not your in and out Burger joint, this place has some class to it and the beer selection is very satisfying too. If you're in the mood for a good burger this is the place to hit!

Been going to 5 Star Burgers since they opened some years ago. Their burgers are absolutely great. Heck, even their sliders, not something I would normally order anywhere, are good--especially with cheese and green chile. Side dishes are tasty---I particularly like the sweet potato fries. Good selection of beer. A little patience helps as they do get busy. Prices are reasonable, especially during happy hour.
I've always enjoyed a good burger and beer and the West Downtown location has exceeded all my expectations! They have the BEST happy hour every day of the week and their Bison Burger is fabulous! I have visited several times and I've never had bad service. Local, tasty, friendly and in my opinion - fabulous!
The family loves the burgers and milkshakes. Always extra milkshake left in the mixing cup, which they also bring out to you. Burgers cooked to medium rare, juicy, and flavorful.They have a good beer selection and during happy hour, a pint costs $3.00. They also have a happy hour menu. Our last server, Tommy, was super nice and service was fantastic.
They have THE BEST happy hour in town. Everyday from 4-6pm, $1.60 sliders, $2 local drafts. Love the pulled pork slider and fried green chile strips. The service is always fast and friendly. Love the patio when the weather is warm. Always a good place when you can't decide.
