I Heart Mac & Cheese

Staff was friendly and organized enough for having just opened. Restaurant is a little small, so on busy days you may have trouble finding a seat. Came in with low expectations because of all of the reviews saying their food came cold, but mine was still warm. The short rib that came on my sandwich tasted good, but there wasn't much of a cheese taste. The biggest problem was the price. My sandwich alone was $12, with the total for four people being $51, and that's without any drink/chip combos which are $3 a piece.

Prices are high for what you get. I expected food and an experience that I couldn't replicate at home. $22 for a plain grill cheese and a bowl of Mac and cheese with a quarter cup of diced ham, and a drink. For that price, I was expecting fresh made pasta flash boiled in front of me. Instead , you get dried pasta cooked hours before you arrive. Pasta is cold that they dish by hand, then pour a small ladel of cheese sauce that was plain and lacked flavor. They top it with your choice of ordinary cheese slices and meat toppings. Then finish it off by heating it up in an oven that only further drys out the dish. It's not bad, but not great. The grill cheese should have been toasted longer. Ultimately, I could have reproduced the meal at home which is not something I want to happen if I'm going to drop $22. There is huge potential in offering "gourmet Mac and Cheese". I just think the franchise has more work to do. If you want to drop the money go have a steak dinner for same price.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET My food came cold, some of the staff were not very friendly. The manager seemed good though. The sauce seemed super fake and out of a box. All in all, a regular size, not a combo, for totally average & COLD mac n cheese, not worth it. I wouldn't pay more than $2 for this, won't be coming back.

I really enjoyed the food here. Comfort food. Great staff and quick service. I believe if it was for those things I would give them 4 stars but the prices are extremely high. For that I say 3 stars. We had the short rib Mac n cheese grilled cheese and the Cuban. We both enjoyed what we ate but the bill was just shy of 30$. I think 8$ per meal would be more in line for what I had to include the chips and a drink.
