Capitano Deli & Sweets

This is a great new business in downtown Yorkville. My wife and I had lunch there yesterday. She had the London Broil Sandwich and I had the Italian. Both were excellent. Quality fresh ingredients and no skimping. We were stuffed! Service was prompt and friendly. The owner took the time to talk to customers. One side of the inside is a candy store that has a good selection of candies. A perfect dessert after your meal. The inside is all new and fresh looking. Seating is comfortable and not crowded. No parking on Rt 47 through downtown but there is ample parking in back. We'll definitely go here again and again. It is a great alternative to burgers and chain sandwich shops.

Just discovered this awesome deli yesterday. I received a coupon in the mailer which was a buy one get one half off. So there I went to try them out. So go online and checkout the menu. I purchased the 11 inch turkey sub it was amazing two of us ate off the one sandwich. Each sandwich comes with a bag of chips. They have several different sandwich choices. Also, there's a candy shop in the deli awesome for the kids. I must say its family owned love that. Google them for directions its kind of difficult to find in downtown Yorkville park in back.

Took great care to make sure the gluten free sandwiches were made properly without any cross contamination. Tasted excellent. I am willing to wait for quality. The candy shop is amazing and has the best selection of Ty Beanie Boos. Great selection of salt water taffy and some nice old school treats that are a fun blast from the past.

Very average at best! The service was fair and not really friendly took 20 minutes to get 3 sandwiches ($35 way overpriced) they somehow had no real flavor and the topper was when the pepperoni still had the plastic casing on each slice. I was really hoping I found a good deli/ sandwich shop but not the case.

Love the atmosphere and environment. Food is amazing taste and LOVE Boars Head product. I visited at 2:30pm on a Friday, not a busy time, nobody was there, and it took 30 minutes to get a sandwich and deli meat sliced. Because I love Boars Head meat products, and support the business, I will continue to support them. But if your in a rush, might not be the spot for you.
