I tell everyone just how amazing El Rey Burro is. My favorite Mexican food stop. The staff are always very nice and the food is made fresh while you wait. 5***** stars!!!!!

Damn!! Great discovery. How can Mexican food from a petrol station be so good?? Try them and find out. Great selection and cheap prices. Tamales, Mulitas, tacos, and more. This is the spot and makes my drive to Yelm so worth it!!
Fantastic little spot. I ended up getting a couple chorizo tacos, and let me just say, I haven't had chorizo cooked that good before. The portions on the tacos were perfect. The spices level was on point. This will be my go-to spot when I'm in Yelm.
The prices are insanely good for the quality of food. I've been back over ten times and never had a bad experience, and the staff have always been friendly, fast and accurate. I'm not a religious man but God bless El Rey Burro.
I am from NM. This place is the real deal for a tasty fat $8 burrito. I am not a fan of rice but you can skip it. Go for the steak or carne asada, you will thank me. And one more thing, it's in a Shell Station.
Wow! Everything from the quality, to the portions, to the cost is absolutely exceptional. We got a quesadilla and two burritos, one steak and one carnitas. Their carnitas are phenomenal, juicy but crispy as well. Definitely what I would recommend. This is an absolute hidden treasure that you need to check out if you are in the area.
So delicious! We got the El rey burrito with carnitas which was giant and amazing! Carne asada street tacos were packed and we were pleasantly surprised to find out they had avocado sauce! And my daughter got the enchiladas burrito and loved it. The fact that they have a drive thru was a huge plus! Will definitely be back!!
