My little family loves this place, it's the only place we go to for Mexican food when I don't want to cook it at home. IAM Mexican and from California where we are very spoiled with authentic Mexican food. One of the things out of many that I love about this place is when I order the chili Verde plate, the sauce tastes different every single time. That tells me that they don't follow a recipe book because the recipe is in their head. #2 is because my husband loves whole fried fish, and this place serves that, it's amazing. #3 I love the coke in the bottles, for some reason it just tastes better to me. We have been coming here for 5 years now and will continue, we love tacos Gabby. The only complaint I myself would have, is they don't serve tripas, that is my favorite on tacos. Maybe after reading this I will see it on the menu the next time we are there.
Freaking love this place. Loving close to the Mexico boarder we were spoiled with authentic Mexican food. When we moved to WA it is very sad that very few places have authentic Mexican food, but taco gabbys is very close if not almost spot on on most of there food. The staff has come to know my husband by name since we eat there all the time. Highly recommended and I'm very picky.
I came here on a Friday night with some friends, and there was no wait, we got our food quickly. The waitress was very nice, polite and fast. All of our food was hot and delicious! The portions were very generous and my steak quesadilla was the thickest quesadilla I've ever seen! My friends from California said this is the best authentic Mexican food they've found around here. For kids, they have kids menus, kids cups, booster seats, high chairs, and a changing table. The bathrooms were clean. The prices were very affordable! Overall, we were very pleased and will be coming back regularly!
The food we ordered were so tasty!! We also ordered Mango magarita but it didn't taste like alcohol in it at all.
Cantaritos were great. I ate a shrimp cocktail which was amazing. Definitely a good spot to eat at.
Best Mexican food I've ever had. I drive all the way from Olympia just for a burrito from this place!
Tacos Gaby has the best mexican food in Yelm. The staff is always incredible, and the food is amazing. Dining in is always a treat, but their to-go service is also wonderful. We have never had any errors in our orders. We have tried the other places in Yelm, but this one is the best. Even when we move away, it'll be worth coming back for Tacos Gaby when we visit friends.
I was blown away by how delicious every single thing was! I had the carnitas and it was amazing! The beans were tasty, the rice could use a little work. But usually when you go to a Mexican restaurant, they all sort of have the same tasting food, not this one! We will be regulars. And the hospitality from the waiter is like nothing I’ve received before, they have a sign on the front the building “my house is your house” and I felt that.
These folks are great. Huge portions, well presented, fast and great service. Reasonable prices too. A no rush atmosphere and relaxed dining. This is a great value for family's and guests. It's a bit hidden on the main Street but well worth finding.
