My fiance is the cook at Lariat , I live in another town and had never tried their food.
He brought me some and the sauce is so good.

As a Native to the Lower Yakima Valley, I absolutely enjoyed when my dad would take me for a Kemper burger and fries! And I found out since Kempers shut down, The owners of Kempers bought the lariat BBQ, And now I can still enjoy these yummy burgers with my kiddos when I visit from Oregon!

I've been coming here as long as I can remember.. so roughly 30 years. We come from Seattle!! We have family in Yakima, and about half the reason we come to Yakima is specifically to get a Lariat burger! They are excellent!!!

It takes a while to get your food after you order, but that's because it is cooked only after you order it. The Kemper burger is a small simple burger on par with a McDonald's hamburger, and the lariat burger is a bigger burger with lots of good toppings. The service is so so, but the food is delicious.

Best burger I have ever had in my lifffeeeeeee! I always get the Lariat Burger. I did stop going there since the PLANdemic because they tried making me wear a mask to order outside. It was kind of ridiculous, but besides that I have always received awesome customer service and the best food ever!
