I would give them 10 stars! Lee is amazing as well as the entire staff! I used them for gourmet cupcakes for my wedding and wow did it go over with a bang! Almost everyone was taking bites of other family members cupcakes at their tables just to try all of the flavors, and most brought another cupcake home for later. I had at least 40 people ask me, "where did you get the cupcakes?!" and I happily wrote down the shop's address. Lee- you are terrific, keep it up and you are now on my list for a "must have" every time I'm back in town!!
My mom ordered us a surprise wedding cake - we had a very small, parents only wedding and this was not something that we had even considered ordering. Mom to the rescue - not a wedding without wedding cake! She found the bakery nearby the restaurant we planned to have dinner at after the ceremony, and arranged for everything with the shop. Fresh flowers were delivered to the shop from another local florist, and added to the cake, and the cake was delivered to the restaurant to be served after our meal. It all worked out beautifully and was a complete surprise to us! The cake was *awesome* and beautiful! It was super moist, the frosting was spot on - nothing overly sweet....so good! The fact that they coordinated everything and worked with my mom online and via phone and then delivered everything as promised was wonderful - it made our day just a touch more special :)

Highly recommend this bakery! I ordered a small lemon Chantilly cake and two dozen cupcakes (12 vanilla and 12 chocolate) for my baby shower. Huge hit! Lots of compliments, especially on the lemon cake. We decorated the cake with fresh flowers ourselves and those were from Spring Thyme herb farm. Also, Sweet Somethings staff was great. Will be back for next special occasion
I reached out to sweet something’s for my son’s first birthday cake and smash cake. I sent example pictures and had a great conversation with Lee about what my vision was. They did such a great job and really captured what I wanted, and the cakes were delicious!
Sweet something’s cake and cupcakes were a total hit at our shower !!! Ppl loved it and couldn’t get enough. Not to mention how beautifully decorated it was! Highly recommend
I normally never leave a review but I brought a dozen assorted cupcakes for my mother’s birthday dinner and they were to die for! Oh my gosh they were literally so perfect, each and every flavor my family raved about! My mother was very much satisfied and so was I, definitely recommend 10000/10! Customer service was very good, the man who greeted/served me was very kind and funny! My new favorite dessert spot for family events… and for my own personal cravings lol! (If you’re from jersey… yes the drive is worth it!)
I purchased a ready made Oreo inspired chocolate cake as a last minute gift. Firstly you're paying for an excellently made cake. They're was a lott of icing and not a lot of cake. I enjoy cake, for the, well, cake aspect. Icing is just a topping. The icing was rich, very sweet and creamy. The cake, from what I could have, was so moist and rich; just wish there was more of it. I look forward to trying the other treats they have ready made :) support local businesses!!
We went out of our way tonight while driving home to NJ to find a cupcake shop that was open late. We were not disappointed! The service was fast and friendly and the cupcakes are some of the best we have ever had. Clearly made of high quality ingredients and each one we tasted was more delicious than the last! Unfortunately, we now have to drive over an hour when we want cupcakes from now on.
