The refried beans are spot on. Creamy and delicious. I had Chili Relleno, my personal favorite dish. Stuffed with cheese then dipped in an egg batter and fried to golden, melty perfection. This is not an easy dish to find on the east coast and this is the best I've had in over 15 years.
Been trying to find a good Mexican restaurant in Wilmington and we hit the jackpot. Food was authentic and very tasty. Service was on point. Will definitely be back soon!
Had a great lunch here. We were out shopping and decided to pop in. We had never eaten here before and we were very happy with the service, food, and prices. Our hostess was super nice and we were seated right away. The lunch menu was great. I had a chicken chimichanga, my wife had the taco / enchilada lunch and my daughter had a cheese quesadilla. All came out quickly and and was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice and I would highly recommend this place for lunch and look forward to going back again in the future.
Happy 2023!!! Having lunch at our favorite place. Having an Island margarita and my husband is having a Premium Margarita.
We're having the Nachos La Costa and I'm having an island margaritas, they serve them in a large glass. My Husband likes the Cadillac Margarita. We come here often, sunday evenings is a good time. Helena is a very sweet lady..
Still the biggest and the best margaritas in Wilmington....!!! My glass is half empty before i took the picture.
This Mexican food was absolutely amazing... my only complaint was the cheese dip, it was good but not the white cheese dip I'm use to at Mexican restaurants... but highly recommended Mexican restaurant... the fajitas were great n even the onions n the beans n cheese quesadilla were great also. Great customer service
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The chimichangas are the best and can’t be beat. I’ve been more times than I can count over the years and I’ve always had great experiences. The food is flavored perfectly and service is always friendly. Very festive atmosphere. Definitely highly recommend.
I have always enjoyed this restaurant for atleast 15 years! Though this time the service was a little off. Had ask for my beer after ordering and did not revieve a child's lemonade . But they were nice enough to hold on to my own misplaced paper item that I forgot. Staff is always really nice no matter how busy they are or size of the party. Prefere it over almost all mexican/hispanic RESTRAUNTs in town. I had the pollo fundido; girlfriend had the chile relleno, and we also had a combo meal split with some our party
Service was good, friendly folks!
Food preparation was not very good on our visit. 2 out of 3 meals at our table were Under-seasoned and unappetizing. But the Queso was great! Probably won’t drive out that way again for a while.
We love this place. The family that runs it are the nicest, most patient folks. The food is good, the prices are good, the people are good. In this era of the automatic tip culture, where the youths expect big money for bare minimum service work, save your money, and bring it here. Let the good folks at La Costa show you how it's done.
Good food! Especially like the chili rellenos, tacos, chips and salsa! Andrea, Johanna and Olivia make you feel right at home. Great attentive staff. Very Covid conscience as well! Try a Long Island Iced Tea if you dare. Not a bad drink at all! I will be back!!!!
