Our waitress was awesome never let our drinks get lower than half full, even asked if we wanted to take them to go. Our food came out fast and hot and when we asked for something she brought it right away!! The food was delicious and the ambiance was so cool! Great find, we will be back!
Great place, great food, and great atmosphere. This place is a must if you're in Wilmington! Highly recommend.
GREAT experience! The atmosphere was so fun and cute. Our server Sophia was also amazing, she was very attentive and friendly! She was the sweetest! The food was flavorful and the drinks were tasty as well! Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat or some drinks! Also the beignets are a must, very fresh!
Food was great, service was amazing! The food come out pretty fast considering how busy they was. As we was leaving a band was setting up to play. To bad we had to get to our next place.
The food is excellent. We got the Oyster Lafayette, Catfish PoBoy, and Shrimp (with added crawfish) Étouffée to share, and that was enough for 2. The service was prompt, we got a table pretty quickly, and the staff is very polite and friendly. The music volume is too high, and that will be my only complaint, but a great experience otherwise!
This place was so fun. I loved the decor, the live music, the building used to be a bank and you can still see part of it by the bathrooms.
The service wasn't the best, our waters didn't get refilled, I had to order a drink at the bar because our waiter disappeared for a while, and after clearing our table but bringing us dessert he didn't bring plates to put it on our ask if we wanted silverware for it.
I really enjoyed the staff and atmosphere here and the food was solid. I'm from NOLA and I'm picky when it comes to southern Louisiana cusine, so take this with a grain of salt but the food didn't quite get there for me. I got the red beans and rice and the flavor was great but the beans were a little undercooke and the andouille sausage was ok. My wife got the Jambalaya Pasta and that was solid. Overall, I'd definitely go again and give the gumbo and other dishes a shot when I'm in the area next. If you like NOLA food, it's for sure worth a shot and I wouldn't let this one off experience stop me from trying it again.
The food was classic french Cajun at affordable prices. It has the look and menu of being in New Orleans without the headaches. Had bang bang shrimp, shrimp and spinach dip, burgers, ribeye and penne pasta with craw fish added. I would say it was a good cross section of menu and everything was great and portions generous.
The restaurant is a whole vibe. Fun and straight out of New Orleans. I have been to Mardi Gras and it definitely had that energy. Good music and the people were friendly.
As far as vegetarian options, they had a couple but it's what I expected given it's a New Orleans style restaurant. I got the vegetable jambalaya and it was excellent. There I two reasons I scored a 4 vs. 5:
1. I ordered the vegetable jambalaya but what came out was the meat version so I had to wait another 15 mins. for the right order. The staff was very apologetic but unfortunately my time cannot be replaced.
2. I ordered the beignets. I have had the famous Cafe Du Monde beignets in New Orleans so I have had really good ones but I tried not to compare. I was disappointed with these only because the inside was uncooked. It was a rough dough consistency. I had to stop eating them cause it was making me feel sick.
Overall, fun experience and good food, 4 out of 5.
Everything was amazing during our interaction at bourbon street but I am posting this specifically because of the waitress Sophia, who was WONDERFUL. We had the pleasure of being waited on by her this past Friday. After plans changed we unfortunately had no reservation for lunch following our wedding rehearsal. We were standing outside shortly after they opened trying to decide where to go and Sophia came out onto the sidewalk and asked us if we wanted to be seated, said she’d be glad to serve us. So 13 adults and 2 high chairs were seated, served, and with good humor and grace she anticipated our every need. I am not joking when I say it was really one of the best experiences. So thank you Sophia! I hope you read this. (Also the food was excellent and the drinks came out quickly and everyone was so so nice.) Cheers Bourbon Street. Never had a bad time there and certainly had an excellent experience on Friday 9/29.
The food was wonderful and the customer service was even better! Very friendly, considerate, and polite staff. Really enjoyed my time there. Definitely give this place a try if your in town. Really does have that New Orleans feeling to it. It is more of a bar setting with a few booths and round tables for seating if you don't wish to sit at the bar. I would say this isn't really a place for kids in my opinion. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for good fun, drinks, and food.
Once we got in, we were told to wait few minutes and obviously saw they were busy. We were asked if we got a seat yet and immediately was seated within seconds. Our waitress was nice (can’t remember her name). The live performance was great. Unfortunately they ran out of crab cakes and pulled pork earlier that afternoon but the food was good and the environment. Will definitely return for the Louisiana Gumbo (delicious!). The drinks were strong and definitely not cheated on the ingredients.
