Review Bourbon Street - Wilmington

GREAT experience! The atmosphere was so fun and cute. Our server Sophia was also amazing, she was very attentive and friendly! She was the sweetest! The food was flavorful and the drinks were tasty as well! Definitely recommend stopping in for a bite to eat or some drinks! Also the beignets are a must, very fresh!

Food was great, service was amazing! The food come out pretty fast considering how busy they was. As we was leaving a band was setting up to play. To bad we had to get to our next place.

The food is excellent. We got the Oyster Lafayette, Catfish PoBoy, and Shrimp (with added crawfish) Étouffée to share, and that was enough for 2. The service was prompt, we got a table pretty quickly, and the staff is very polite and friendly. The music volume is too high, and that will be my only complaint, but a great experience otherwise!

This place was so fun. I loved the decor, the live music, the building used to be a bank and you can still see part of it by the bathrooms. The service wasn't the best, our waters didn't get refilled, I had to order a drink at the bar because our waiter disappeared for a while, and after clearing our table but bringing us dessert he didn't bring plates to put it on our ask if we wanted silverware for it.

I really enjoyed the staff and atmosphere here and the food was solid. I'm from NOLA and I'm picky when it comes to southern Louisiana cusine, so take this with a grain of salt but the food didn't quite get there for me. I got the red beans and rice and the flavor was great but the beans were a little undercooke and the andouille sausage was ok. My wife got the Jambalaya Pasta and that was solid. Overall, I'd definitely go again and give the gumbo and other dishes a shot when I'm in the area next. If you like NOLA food, it's for sure worth a shot and I wouldn't let this one off experience stop me from trying it again.

The food was classic french Cajun at affordable prices. It has the look and menu of being in New Orleans without the headaches. Had bang bang shrimp, shrimp and spinach dip, burgers, ribeye and penne pasta with craw fish added. I would say it was a good cross section of menu and everything was great and portions generous.

The restaurant is a whole vibe. Fun and straight out of New Orleans. I have been to Mardi Gras and it definitely had that energy. Good music and the people were friendly. As far as vegetarian options, they had a couple but it's what I expected given it's a New Orleans style restaurant. I got the vegetable jambalaya and it was excellent. There I two reasons I scored a 4 vs. 5: 1. I ordered the vegetable jambalaya but what came out was the meat version so I had to wait another 15 mins. for the right order. The staff was very apologetic but unfortunately my time cannot be replaced. 2. I ordered the beignets. I have had the famous Cafe Du Monde beignets in New Orleans so I have had really good ones but I tried not to compare. I was disappointed with these only because the inside was uncooked. It was a rough dough consistency. I had to stop eating them cause it was making me feel sick. Overall, fun experience and good food, 4 out of 5.

Everything was amazing during our interaction at bourbon street but I am posting this specifically because of the waitress Sophia, who was WONDERFUL. We had the pleasure of being waited on by her this past Friday. After plans changed we unfortunately had no reservation for lunch following our wedding rehearsal. We were standing outside shortly after they opened trying to decide where to go and Sophia came out onto the sidewalk and asked us if we wanted to be seated, said she’d be glad to serve us. So 13 adults and 2 high chairs were seated, served, and with good humor and grace she anticipated our every need. I am not joking when I say it was really one of the best experiences. So thank you Sophia! I hope you read this. (Also the food was excellent and the drinks came out quickly and everyone was so so nice.) Cheers Bourbon Street. Never had a bad time there and certainly had an excellent experience on Friday 9/29.

The food was wonderful and the customer service was even better! Very friendly, considerate, and polite staff. Really enjoyed my time there. Definitely give this place a try if your in town. Really does have that New Orleans feeling to it. It is more of a bar setting with a few booths and round tables for seating if you don't wish to sit at the bar. I would say this isn't really a place for kids in my opinion. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for good fun, drinks, and food.

Once we got in, we were told to wait few minutes and obviously saw they were busy. We were asked if we got a seat yet and immediately was seated within seconds. Our waitress was nice (can’t remember her name). The live performance was great. Unfortunately they ran out of crab cakes and pulled pork earlier that afternoon but the food was good and the environment. Will definitely return for the Louisiana Gumbo (delicious!). The drinks were strong and definitely not cheated on the ingredients.

Very delicious gumbo. Had the Louisiana gumbo. Has a spicy kick to it. The waitress, and I'm sorry I forget her name, but she was awesome. I never had to ask for a refill, never was rushed. She was amazing. The music inside was good, not too loud. Then the live music started and it was a tad bit loud. This place is definitely worth a visit.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Michelle at bourbon street. Her professionalism and attentiveness made our dining experience truly outstanding. She anticipated our needs and created a welcoming atmosphere that allowed us to fully enjoy our meal. With her great service and radiant personality, she is undoubtedly a standout among servers. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a great dining experience. Five stars all the way!

Food was good change from regular fish and seafood, with a lily Louisiana Flare.

I have worked in the culinary world for some time before you judge. First, service was great. Couldn't have asked for better. Seated right away and checked on frequently. Although not one person working ever seemed to be smiling with the exception of our server. Trust me I checked very frequently just to prove my suspicions. Secondly, the food was sub-par. I had the bourban burger made "bayou burner"......Not even close to spicy. Only had 2 jalepenos on the half pound burger and couldn't even taste the "bayou sausage" placed on the burger. The cheese was not melted into the pattie (a staple in the culinary world of burgers). The bread on the burger was a sesame bun that was as stale as they come. For sure had been sitting out or in an unopened bag for some time. Additionally, the bun wasn't toasted, therefore the reduced fat from the burger soaked through and of course....fell apart. I had fries as my side. There are no condiments at the table. Traditionally a ramekin of ketchup comes with the plate.....nope, none. As this place was recommended to us, I am thoroughly disappointed in the food quality. I hope that someone will take action as the pub setting and service is without reproach! Have to increase the food quality times 10!!!

Our waitress was awesome never let our drinks get lower than half full, even asked if we wanted to take them to go. Our food came out fast and hot and when we asked for something she brought it right away!! The food was delicious and the ambiance was so cool! Great find, we will be back!

I felt welcome from the moment I walked in; from the smiling and helpful host to the smiling and helpful waiter (Nick. He’s wonderful!!). The ambiance is so cool; the menu is delicious New Orleans, the beer was phenomenal (I had “Purple Haze”, highly recommend it), and the prices are quite reasonable. I’ll be making the 1 1/2 hour trip back up soon!

We have come here for years to watch Saints games and get a bowl of gumbo. This last time was terrible. The pictures on the menu do not match what comes out. Extra salty food! They really need to change the name because it discredits all of the New Orleans cuisine it claims to serve. The service is insanely slow. We ordered food at the beginning of a game and it didn't come until 2 minutes till half time. If you want to over pay for a salt stick then stop here for dinner.

Anthony is wonderful, best server ever!! We've never been here before and we are so enjoying the music and atmosphere. We'll be back!

This was our first trip and we will defiantly return. The timing between our appetizer and food was perfect. Our waitress Jenny made sure our drinks were full and checked on us multiple times throughout our visit. The service and food was amazing. I think We found our new favorite restaurant.

This was our 4th choice, all the other places had wait times. There is a reason for that. Took almost an hour to get our food and when it did come, the cat fish was raw and fries barely cooked after we asked for extra crispy.

We brought my mom out to Wilmington for a great time and she absolutely loved this place! Gene was our server and he was such a dear!! We are definitely coming back for the food, the friendly service, and the wonderful atmosphere ♡

Took about 25 mins after ordering with less than 8 ppl there. I figured it's not fast food so that was ok. Yet surprisingly when we got our food it wasn't piping hot. Taste was ok, waitress was great and price was inline with most others but portions seemed a little more than others.

The crab cakes are awesome, our waiter was great . The food was good for our first time in there. We will be back to try other entree’s

Our waitress kept forgetting things on our orders and mixing them up, had she written it down maybe there wouldn't have been an issue . My sister n law still never received the ranch she had asked for and our fries were also COLD ! I will say my burger was good just think your staff needs to work on getting the orders correct and their attitudes .

Walk in on a Sunday afternoon with friends. We wanted to sit outside and enjoy some food and drinks. I walk into the restaurant and all of the servers we're in the back of the place talking and just look at me like I had three heads. I walk out front and sat at a table with my friend's, and the table if front of us told us to run. I was not happy of the way this place put the customer. The wait staff needs to know that we have other places to choose from. We did get up and leave and had a great day and night out.

Always great music and a wait staff that moves with urgency and direction to provide an outanding experience.

The food is excellent! Our server, Cooper, made the evening extremely fun with his expert guidance through the menu. If you’re in Wilmington, don’t miss Bourbon Street.

Great atmosphere but the food was awful. My crab cakes were cold and the shrimp tasted like it had freezer burned. I won't be eating there again.

Ate here on a whim while visiting Wilmington and it was very good. We all just had burgers but they had excellent flavor with just right seasoning. Seemed like they were hand formed patties which is rare these days.
