The food is always good. We usually go for brunch, and they never disappoint. Service was a little off today. The server must have been new, but was very friendly. He had to ask someone else about specials and other questions we had. Our kids always order root beers, but he said they didn't have any. Seemed odd that we've always got them before, but now they don't have it. Regardless, we'll be back.
Beautiful and spacious environment, friendly staff, and great food! I would eat the coconut carrot cake daily if I could, it was just divine. Short rib tacos and dish and chips were delicious as well. The kids enjoyed their Mac and cheese/grilled cheese as well.
I ordered food to go, and it was good! They don't have chicken tenders for adults, so I ordered a kids meal, and it was tasty - the tenders are not the typical frozen ones and came out hot and juicy. The burger had a lot of flavor, but the cheese was kind of weird, more like a goat cheese than what they advertised it as. The sweet potato fries with brown sugar butter dipping sauce (?) were excellent. I look forward to dining in restaurant and enjoying the full experience!
If you're a fan of amazing juicy smash burgers, look no further. Holy hell this was one of the best burgers I've had in wilmington. We also had the fish(cod I believe) and chips and crispy brussels appetizer. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. They also have a very nice selection of beers, canned and on draft if your into that. Check them out!
Vegetarian options would be their Mac and cheese and their black bean burger. Black bean burger was amazing and unique but slightly spicy. The nachos were.... Not the best for delivery.
Azalea Festival chef's table was absolutely amazing! Four course wine pairing blew my mind with salad, sweet chili calamari, bbq salmon, and quadruple chocolate brownie with ice cream and pretzel topping. LM restaurants are supposed to be shaking up their menus according to the celebrity chef helping revamp menues across their chains! I can't wait to come back to Hops and try out Henry's and Blue Water with their new menus as well!
I don’t mean to get back to you so late owner, but you’re welcome! Always good here, everything I eat. Just went again and the burger just gets tastier every time. Deviled eggs were also good for a Christmas party themed item because it’s almost Christmas. I also tried some of my mom’s left over bistro steak and it’s so good. Those big potatoes that come with it are just awesome. The place is deserving of every star. I've also eaten the French dip at other times and it's excellent.
I’ve come here for years and have always had a great experience! Great spot for weekend brunch, and worth any wait. Brunch usually involves live music. Pictured is the waffle of the day, which was topped with fried eggs, fried chicken, and a drizzle of chipotle honey glaze. The cucumber Bloody Mary is a perfect go to!
Overall experience was good. Only issues I had was my burger was burnt and had no flavor. The only flavor I had was from the cheese. Now the nachos were amazing and would highly recommend for an appetizer. The other issue was my main course came out 2 minutes after my appetizer. Which came out after a long wait. Which tells me the appetizer was done the same time my main dish was. If it wasn't for the burnt burger I would have given 5 stars. I'll give them another try, but I won't order a burger again. They did apologize multiple times for the wait time.
$2 mimosas and a great brunch menu. Definitely get the nachos and the burger was delicious. They actually cooked my burger the way that I wanted it... rare.
