Local Grille

Not our first visit. The beef on wreck rolls are outstanding but wasn’t in the mood for them so I tried the Cuban sandwich. VERY good. I really liked that the house made potato chips very lightly salted; so many places over do it. They have a well balanced selection of local brews on tap. Deleted a star because their wine isn’t local. So many wonderful wineries in Western New York, why go to California?

Service was very good ,very attentive but my broiled Cajun fish was dry as dry could be the cole slaw was drenched in dressing and didn’t like the Mac salad (dill ) . My partner had the chicken stir fry. It was swimming in sauce. Totally over kill on sauce should consider putting it on the side. All in all not the best for the money. And I just realized I was over charged for the Cajun fish by one dollar according to the menu.Probably won’t be back.

After learning about Local Grill from a family friend, my wife has been trying to get my family to go. We went on a Sunday at around 10am and were seated immediately at a table on the patio. The restaurant itself was clean and looked new as did the patio and awning. Our waitress was friendly, quick, and looked out for any needs that we might have. Now the best part: the food. The dishes were creative and delicious. We had Morning Borsa (I'll be getting that one again!), Stuffed French Toast (with Nutella), Bohemian Pretzel Waffles, Pulled Pork Poutine, and Beef on Weck Egg Rolls. All in all, my expectations were high because of their reputation, and they exceeded my expectations. There's even talk between my kids that well be going back next week.

I hosted a surprise birthday party for my wife's 40th and I cannot say enough about the entire event. The venue, outside, was perfect and comfortable, nicely appointed. The staff was exceptional. Never once did we have to go searching for someone to accommodate us and our guests. The staff were so personable and genuinely warm. And, the food. Everyone is still talking about the roast beef eggrolls. The spread was outstanding and provided enough options for everyone's dietary needs.
