We had my grandmas 90th birthday here. Oh it was the best food ever ! I loved the swing outside. If you ever want a birthday party I highly recommend this place

Most of the food was good needs just a little more seasoning in the cabbage, some of the meat base items was a little tough even in gravy, but other than that it was good. Our waitress was very quiet and was always on the move. She was very nice to us and made sure to check on us between waiting on the other tables. Price wise was ok for 3 people dining in.

Traveling through and stopped for a decent lunch after finding them online. We were extremely pleased with the service and the food was good home cooking! We had the buffet and salad bar and were thrilled at the price.

Very friendly environment the food is awesome. I would recommend hitching post for the best buffet in town. I went back there on saturday 10/07/2023 and it was fantastic. Me, my wife and my mother will be back again. Thank you for some great food. We'll be back soon.

We stopped here for lunch and the service was absolutely the best you'll find almost anywhere. Everyone working in the dining room was smiling, helpful and friendly. We were seated promptly upon entering and our server appeared for our drink order as soon as we sat down. She was back with glasses of iced tea quickly and ready to take our order. We don't normally eat from a buffet but because the majority of the people there seemed to be utilizing it we asked if we could look at the buffet before ordering. So many places the buffet tables don't appear sanitary but this one was extremely well maintained. Even with so many people fixing plates we didn't see a spot on any surface nor find any food in a server-pan that didn't belong in it. That being said we got the buffet and we understood why it was such a favorite. Everything on our plates was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The mac-n-cheese was made with just the right amount of extra sharp cheddar to set it apart. The hush puppies were so light and fluffy it reminded us of a cloud. Definitely going back soon to try the dinner menu.

Without exception, since forever, this restaurant ALWAYS has delicious meals! The buffet is scrumptious. My personal favorite meal is the grilled pork chop, sautéed vegetables, red-skinned mashed potatoes. Divine. ❤️ The staff is always helpful and attentive. Many of the staff have other careers and simply enjoy all things hospitality.

The waitress/Bartender was lovely and professional, very helpful and personable. The steak was cooked to order and the rest of the dinner was very good . Glad I made the stop .
It's been a year since I was here should plan a return trip soon.
