Just returning from our recent vacation, I, of course brought home a helping of Douglass confections!!!
Their salt water taffy is 2nd to none!!! The flavors are spot on. You have the choice of long roll style or midget style. Basic traditional flavors OR cream mint flavors!! Their fudge... Oh lourde!!! It's almost a sin LOL
This time, I brought the tin pie pan of pumpkin pie fudge home with us. It is hands down amazing!!! I can taste actual pumpkin bits throughout the fudge! The taste is exceptional. It's so smooth and creamy. If you don't try this, you ARE missing out!!!

It’s been ten years since I have been back to Wildwood and the thing I miss the most is Douglass Candies! I had some shipped to Florida and I can tell you how happy I am. It is a delicious as I remembered. Absolutely the best candy in the world. The European candy makers have nothing on you.
I have been going to Douglas Candies every summer since the 1960s. It is by far the best. Since I have moved from NJ, I don't get to go every summer any more. Whenever I get back to Wildwood, I love to go into their store. But, you can order on line and enjoy their Salt Water Taffy, homemade fudge and other treats. They will cold pack your shipment and quickly ship so that you can enjoy the freshest products.
Hands down, the best fudge down the shore! Quality, taste- can't be beat. We have been loyal customers for years because they are consistently amazing! My favorite is the maple walnut fudge 😋
We drive from Seaside Heights to go to Douglass Fudge! There's nothing like it! I thought I was spoiled living in the shore town with multiple candy shops in the area and don't get me wrong the ones in Seaside are good I still patronize them but there's something about Douglass fudge. Can't explain it maybe it's the age old family recipe all I know is it is the best fudge I have ever had and I also like their selection of sugar-free items for some of the people in my family that can't have a lot of sugar their selection is quite extensive. So if you have the opportunity definitely do not visit the Wild Woods without stopping at Douglass Fudge you won't regret it!! They have a new Christmas ornament this year too so seagull holding Taffy in its mouth 😍

Heaven on Wildwood Boardwalk . They have the best taffy and fudge. Nice selection and great amount of flavors. Can be busy depending on the time and day. The staff is great and very professional. During hot days you can enjoy the AC inside while shopping. This is a must go place when On the wildwood boardwalk.
I'm a picky eater and actually not much of a sweets person but this is hands down the best fudge I've ever had in my 42 years on this earth!
It's everything you want from fudge, but it's not overly sweet like most fudge is. Super smooth and creamy plus it was all fresh; no dried out gritty edges.
The chocolate fudge has a mouth feel of a dense ganache and tastes like it as well. Amazing!
If you pass one and they're giving out free samples, definitely try it. That's what got me hooked. I'm hoping they have other locations closer to me.
I am 66 years old and lived in NJ my whole life. My husband and I spent our honeymoon 37 years ago in Wildwood Crest. We went every year to Wildwood for a week. When we had our children we brought them every year. Our favorite candy store was Douglass Fudge. We never missed a chance to go there. Fond memories of going back to our room and enjoying all our goodies. We also went there the day we would leave, to eat our fudge on the drive home.
We moved to Chicago last November 2022, to live with our daughter since my husband was very ill. Unfortunately he passed away February 2023. I miss him immensely and all we used to do together in NJ. Wildwood was on top of the list.
I just ordered a bunch of goodies from Douglass Fudge, and when it arrived it reminded me of all the good times. It was packaged and shipped excellently. Everything is delicious. I love it. It was one of my husband's favorite things to do, eat a lot of fudge.
I have been getting fudge and molasses paddles since the early 1970’s. I love the fact to I can order online and still enjoy the sweet taste of deliciousness. Brings back my childhood memories. My children love Douglass’ and I’m anxious for my little grandsons try a paddle!
My 73 year old Father's bday was Tuesday. He asked for salt water taffys from down the shore. He LOVES douglass. He has been buying these for as long as I can remember, but he doesn't drive anymore. I was so excited to see you can order online! They were so fast too! I ordered them on Tuesday and they were at his house in 2 days, on Thursday.
This is probably the ultimate place on the Wildwood Boardwalk to get your taffy and fudge, plus They have a huge selection of novelty candies.
Yes the place gets busy buy it is worth the wait.
