If you like sushi and sake, this is the place to go. Fresh, creative and delicious, it's as good if not better than any place you'll find in NYC.

Best sushi around!! Nicest staff also.. When you walk in the door you are greeted by the hostess the wait staff and even the chefs. Big smiles and hearty hellos. Usually when i go for sushi i have to eat something before i go. Little pieces of fish with on some rice doesn't fill me up.. At Nikko the alla cart pieces of sushi and sashimi are nice big pieces. There is also an excellent dish from the kitchen. Filet mignon kobe style. I give this place 5 stars!! Fish is fresh as can be. And service is outstanding!!!!

I ordered takeout at Nikko and was very happy with the timing, service, and food. The Yakisoba noodles were great, with nice flavor and plenty of beef. The chicken tempura was crispy and tender, as well as the vegetable tempura being very tasty indeed. The salads were good, though the dressing was just ok, and the miso soup was excellent and not too salty as is usually the case. The service was great for take out, and I I will be back to try the sushi as the sushi bar looked awesome. Recommended for sure!

We have been here many many times for lunch/dinner. Overall the quality of the food and service was good. We mostly ordered sashimi dishes and some sushi. The ingredients were fresh; and there were ample selections. Service was friendly, especially knowing that the majority of the wait staff and the sushi chef were 60+ and having worked here for 15+ years already. They know their customers. The only downside was their wine/sake policy. We cannot bring our own sake. But the sake selection was limited. The ones that the restaurant carried only came in small size.

Came here for a company lunch (FPC) and we had a wonderful time. The staff and host were super friendly and the atmosphere of the space is nice. The food was really good. Got the sashimi Platter and the fish was super fresh and tasty. Definitely check the place out if you're around the area!

This old school sushi restaurant has all the quality seafood you feel so fortunate to stumble upon like we did today. To our delight it had fresh sea Urchin and on a Monday! Everything was top quality! The service was outstanding also. Highly recommended

The best Japanese restaurant nearby. The taste is very good with a fair price point. The amount for each dish is good. Many other Japanese restaurants in this area offer food at a much higher price but far worse quality. The overall score in my opinion: Food 9/10 Service 10/10 Parking and environment 10/10. Must tries: 1. Beef sashimi 2. Tempura delux 3. Umeboshi Onigiri 4. Chawan Mushi Though I still have to mention, the followings could be better: 1. The yakitori(chicken skewer) could be more juicy and tender, it is slightly too dry. 2. Blue fin toro should have more marble look with more flavor, it is now too slim. 3. Sukiyaki has very good soup base, and could be better with more choices of vegetables and shirataki. I recommend this restaurant!

Not only is the sushi terrific, the servers are totally on the ball, kind, thoughtful and they get the order correct every time. This restaurant is excellent on a consistent basis over a number of years.

Amazing quality and the size of the rolls are much larger than any sushi restaurant I've been to. I've been to many but this one is by far the best in taste and service as well-fast service and everyone was very friendly. Will absolutely be returning.

Great selection of daily special sushi as well as a well rounded menu. The standard fare is of great quality but could be more imaginative with better variety of fish and some extra attention to detail. Personnel very knowledgeable and helpful. Atmosphere ok.

Good Japanese food in a more traditional atmosphere. Fish was fresh and the service was very good. I had a seaweed salad an unagi don (eel over rice). My wife tried a few different sushi rolls and enjoyed them all. They have a tatami table! And cannot wait to bring some friends, have some sake, and enjoy a dinner here!
