I could drink the mung bean juice here every day. Its not extremely sweet but very satisfying. Their puff pastries are also very delicious! Don't go too late because this bakery closes early!

I come here specifically for their Vietnamese coffee and it is so good and strong here. I also love their meat puff pastry, I forget what it's called but soo good! Worth checking out and it's cash only so make sure to bring cash!

I am visiting from Texas and my cousin lives behind the plaza where Gala Bakery is. My family from here kept saying their coffee was good so... yaaaa know I got to try that coffee. 😏 mannnnn.... Their coffee is spot on... like it’s one of the best I have ever tried. I would likely come back to Gala whenever I’m on vacation to Westminster. 😁

The "bánh su" (chou in french) is unique better than anywhere else. The custard cream inside is lighter than other places that are to sweet. At $0.90 a piece is not cheap compared to other bakery, but the quality matches the price and it's worth it.
Ordering the 5 piece in the plastic box is better than in the big paper box. I don't recall if you get discount or not for buying bulk, but if possible, just buy a bunch of 5pieces in plastic box. The plastic boxes keep it from drying out more than the paper box.
Wish they would stay open later than 5pm. Sometimes I get out of work after 5pm and crave the "bánh su" but they already close.
