Harry Buffalo

Loved the open and bright atmosphere. Really good food and quality food. Our food was fresh and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The manager brought us our food and checked up on us. We enjoyed our first time here. And would eat there again if we were in the area. The menu has allot of options, hamburgers, seafood, chicken, pizza, etc. Reminded me of Roosters. And pricing was fair for portion sizes in my opinion. All of this food pictured came to 35ish total and we took home leftovers.

If you follow the GPS finding this restaurant isn’t hard, just a little awkward to turn into. Parking was great. It has a large lot. I ordered these super herd burger with buffalo meat. It was pretty tasty until I got to the middle where it was more pink than I would like it to be. The server did not ask how I liked it cooked. The gluten free bun wasn’t bad. The real winner was the sweet potato fries. They tasted like fair fries with the brown sugar glaze on them! It was busy but the server seemed aloof and neglected us somewhat. We sat at booth that had a TV with a baseball game on. When that was over we asked if they could switch it to another baseball game that was going on and we were informed that all the TVs are on the same circuit and they couldn’t change it because other people were watched the game that just ended?? Seems odd. Maybe they just weren’t Reds fans? LOL

Sunday afternoon we stopped by Harry Buffalo on Sunbury road, it wasn't crowded and the vibe was chill. I had a couple of the daily drink specials - Dublin Mule and they were tasty. My son's Sprite was flat so they made it right by getting him a root beer. Both he and my hubs got the chicken tenders basket with special sauce and they enjoyed their meals. I got the 3 piece Henny Chicken. The potato wedges (jojos) were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The wing and thigh were tasty, when I got to the breast, it was bloody and undercooked in the middle. Our waitress was great and offered to make a new one. The replacement came out and I cut into it with the same I undercooked result. At this time I wasn't hungry for any chicken - and won't be for a little bit. They did not charge for the chicken meal or the sprite which was nice. What they did well was good, not spectacular, but good.

The food was pretty good. I had the Henny Chicken wings and grabbed my wife the fish sandwich and an extra side of fries for myself to go. We liked everything and everything the people in the group I was with ordered looked good. I'll likely return to try some other items on the menu. Update: went back for a 2nd trip. The wife and I tried the wings and the Bang Bang Shrimp. Both were good! She especially loved the Bang Bang Shrimp.

I've been going to this place for years. Pros +Huge outdoor patio and a lot of great bands play there in the spring and summer. +One of the better wing places around +Tons of TVs all around, a great sports bar. +Above average bar food. +Some really great servers. Cons +Not the place to go for a quiet drink. +Hard to get a parking spot on summer evenings, or trivia night, or big sports days +Sometimes a big suburban sports bar just isn't the vibe. Having said all that, I'm a big fan. The owner is almost always on the floor using tables and making sure things are running well.
