*This is like eating burgers at your favorite cousins house if you had to pay😂*
I’m always up to try a new burger spot & I’ve driven pass this spot a few times. I decide to find parking and give Irv’s a try.
The entire vibe feels like family! The guy on the register was super cool! It’s not like it was a huge moment but I took forever to decide and this guy was cool!
I’m not a food critic but this was a great burger! I wasn’t expecting this burger to be so full of flavor! I would’ve gotten two😂
I also had an hotdog unseen in the pics because you know hunger won!
They have a small inside eating area that is picnic style so you’re sitting next to strangers which is fun because I chatted with a guy that ended up being a Supreme reseller 🫶🏾 got myself some exclusive Supreme items for Free!
Also they left a cute note on my bag like when you were in grade school!
Check this spot out & talk in the picnic area!🕺🏾
I was actually on my way to Easy Street Burgers, but I saw this place and decided to try it. The burger tasted as good as Easy Street, except it was bigger. I also really like raw onions on my burger and so that was a win for Irv’s Burgers. The meat was smashed, but not as thin as the other places. The fries were hot and crispy and they put plenty of cheese on my fries. This place is a solid spot for anyone craving a good burger and fries.
Irv's Original Roadside Double Burger / two patties, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, Irv's sauce, on a toasted bun - 5 🌟!
Crispy French fries - 5 🌟!
The burger landscape in Los Angeles is robust and bountiful. Irv's is often on the top or near the top of many burger lists. My biggest burger regret is that it took me a long time to actually go and try them out. They've been open and serving their amazing burgers for a long time.
The burger was fantastic. It was high quality beef, meaty with a lot of flavor and expertly cooked. The cheese was melty and balanced the beefy flavors. I always like getting a burger the way the restaurant recommends it, and their style is a classic combo.
I think the Irv's sauce is based on Thousand Island dressing. It was perfect.
They go with crispy, thin fries, and they serve a big basket. Of course I ate everything I ordered. How could I not when everything is this good!
I went on a Sunday and found street parking. This location may get tricky for parking other times of the day or week since it's in a busy spot for restaurants and bars.
We came here because the branding looked curious and we like trying new burger spots 👀 Once we checked out the menu we learned that they also serve sandwiches, dogs, shakes and chili fries. I loved my BLT and my family loved the burgers. We all noticed that they had a lean feeling (for burgers of course) and the quality was better than many fast food places. I loved the rye bread on my BLT and the chili fries were bomb! “They make their chili in house” PS this spot has been around since 1949; they just moved location about 10 years ago! We’ll definitely be back for more 🫶🏻
One of the most delicious burgers I've ever had! I got the double burger combo. The smashed patties gave it those crispy edges and it was really flavorful. I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in the area again.
Waited a bit to order but it was straight to the point. Waited a bit and the food was made right when it was ordered.
Friends for the shake and float and claimed it was amazing! Once the food got there it was time to feast!
The burgers were decent size. Got the big Irv and that thing was packed work everything. So much oil dripping, so be ready to use napkins!
The chili is pretty good as well. Doesn't stink you up like Tommy's. Totally recommend to try it. Go get you that delicious heart attack!
Where do I start — on top of having amazing and welcoming service (shoutout to Doris), the food is so good!! Doris recommended the chili cheese fries to us and they did not disappoint. The shakes too!!! So glad we found our new go-to burger spot
A really great burger with fresh veggies! The fries had a nice crunch. Good pair with the cheese sauce on the side.
I loved that their chili cheese dogs used shredded cheese.
The location was cute, and I enjoyed the colors! It was pretty cold tho, so didn’t seem like it had too much ventilation.
Exquisitely flavorful burger. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. My fries were overwhelmingly oversalted—I hope I got a bad batch.
The only thing you need to get here is the Oreo shake. The food and price are ok. We got the burger and a chilli dog. The chilli is very similar to Tommy's but with less grease.
