Heard about Nick's and thought I would stop by to give it a try. First impressions, decor seemed decent, but there was a weird smell when we entered, not sure what it was. We ordered the Cheese Curds, Bacon Swiss King Tenderloin, Cheeseburger, Italian Grinder, and the Fry and Onion Ring Basket. The King Tenderloin is massive and had really good breading and tasted terrific, but I was only able to eat half, this thing is huge. The rest of the food was your basic good bar food. Definitely worth trying the Tenderloin.

We ordered the queen size tenderloins and onion rings. They also have a king size tenderloins. Everything is ala carte. The onion rings are 6 for $6 or 9 for $9. And your thinking what but, one is honestly the size of a grape fruit and I would challenge you to eat more than two in one sitting. I have always preferred thin tenderloins but, these were very good with no grizzly meat. Kinda hard to find as there is no building sign. It is in the former Mexican restaurant location by the parking garage.....see pics. 🍺

Nick's is especially known for their tenderloins. I'm not personally big on tenderloins, so I ordered something else - the club sandwich. Those who did order the tenderloin were very impressed, and I must say it looked impressive. The queen size should suffice for most appetites. It was not thin and sprawling like I've frequently seen elsewhere, but it looked thick and meaty. My club was good, but not amazing. It was impressively thick though.

Amazing tenderloin sandwich! Best I've had!

Men's and women's bathroom is very unsanitary. The door was kept open and even though we were not sitting anywhere close to the restrooms, we could still smell the bathroom stanch.

My office is in West Glen and I'm from Chicago so I wanted to try the Italian Beef sandwich. Could it be the real thing? It is legit, and I've been back a few times and that's all I've ordered. I hear the tenderloins are great, and maybe one day I'll try it. Right now I am having the beef, in fact will be there for lunch again today!

After many positive reviews on Nick’s in West Glenn I decide to take my wife there on our Sunday luncheon. Wow were we disappointed to the point I was ready to get up and leave, but it my wife didn’t want to due to already ordering our food and she didn’t want to be rude. We arrived right around noon and the main dining room was 1/3rd full. The sign stated please wait to be seat, after waiting 10 minutes to be seated we were placed in the bar. Noticing right away they were short staff, with two servers and a bartender I knew right away we’d better know what we wanted when she came for our drinks.
Server was nice, apologized for it taking so long to get seated took our drink and food order right away. We ordered coke, water with lime, cheese curds, fried pickles and two queen tenderloin sandwiches one with American cheese and the other without onion.
Didn’t receive drinks until after two other tables got their drinks that ordered after us and we had to ask the server for them, once the drinks finally arrived my wife’s coke didn’t have any CO2 and had to be sent back, with server stating oh sorry I didn’t know that since I don’t drink soda.
Finally got our food, and in my opinion we received a small portion of cheese curds probably since they were really busy at this point with the whole restaurant full and staff running around looking flustered. My wife’s tenderloin had onion which she didn’t want and my American cheese was barely visible since it was almost translucent from being over cooked. Everything was over breaded, I love Panko and use it myself for breading chicken strips, fish and even tenderloins but not a 1/4 inch thick. What this results in is a mouth full of fryer oil once you start masticating your tenderloin. Pickles were so thick and heavily breaded even my wife had a tuff time eating them and she loves fried pickles, maybe change to sliced pickle for quicker preparation and better pickle to breading ratio?
Finally the bill, I don’t know if the American cheese was blessed by the pope or what but they charged a $1.00 for $0.14 slice of processed cheese, come on Nick’s you can do better than this. Sad to say will not be recommending to anyone nor will I be going back.

Your most likely coming here for the Pork Tenderloin sandwich and if you are, you wonder be disappointed. They are huge, juicy, and have that perfect crunch. Im not a big fan of places that advirtise "The Best" anything when it comes to food, but this one may be warranted. Also tried there onion rings which were very good, I just wish they had a sort of onion ring sauce rather than just ketchup. There cheese curds are pretty bad so I would just skip on those.

Buddy and I went in to watch the championship game last night. I ordered the chili and a salad. The chili gave me food poisoning. Woke up feeling terrible and a little later I was vomiting. I’m certain it was the chili. It also didn’t make a good impression to see the staff sitting at the bar during service hours. I get it was late and near closing time, but again, little too lax for my taste.
