Excellent food. Quaint little place. Our son a Very picky vegetarian really enjoyed the meal that he ordered a second meal to go. The owner?/ cook/server/host came across a bit standoffish but the food made up for it and service was good. There were a couple of tables of locals there who seemed to be regulars. Interesting local crafts, pottery, antiques are also for sale there.

My wife and I had a great breakfast here while traveling through. If not for the interstate sign, we wouldn't have found it! We both had the farmers breakfast, with some quite tasty coffee, picture to show!

Excellent coffee! Great value. Cool little town. Perfect stop on our road trip. Gingerbread cookie was a delicious treat, too! Enjoyed chatting with the owner -- it's not easy running a small business right now... he's remodeling to reopen amid the new social distancing rules. Definitely recommend supporting this business!!

Great local coffee shop. A classic example of an excellent small business. Excellent service, a wealth of knowledge about the product and a great environment. I visited for a walk in during the COVID times so they were only open for walk in but as I've said before, great attention was taken to the quality of my beverage. I can't recommend it enough. The owner is really cool too. Cheers.

Wow! Crabby server, even crabbier owner/cook! A large group of women came in and asked if they could move two tables together. They were met with eye roll while the owner/cook begrudgingly helped them move the tables, which took all of 20 seconds, and where then told by the server that the owner really doesn’t like to move anything around. It wasn’t even busy, so why such attitudes? My husband and I each ordered a veggie/cheese omelette. I ask for the bread to be held, but maybe a few extra potatoes. I got even less potatoes than my husband, and an omelette with so little cheese that it was as if the cook counted out perhaps 5 shreds. The veggies were fresh, but it was all dry. For me 3 grapes, 1/6 of an apple cut into paper thin slices, 1/6 of an orange, perhaps 1/6 of a banana. If you added both of our potatoes and fruit together, it would quantify as almost one serving of each. The food was fresh and was served quickly. That’s the only reason it gets two stars. I’m actually probably being generous. We love locally owned places, are friendly, and were each in the restaurant business, so we will cut a lot of slack. This was a very poor experience!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. I'm sure lunch is good here too, but I love their breakfast so much, I only go on the morning :) they have a small, rotating menu. I love their poached eggs on their home made bread with goat cheese and greens. Breakfast potatoes are so good, my family fights over them. Excellent coffee bar (with almond milk as an option for those who don't do dairy). Awesome cookies (shhh! Don't tell I had one for breakfast;) ). The owners are really awesome. They are also very welcoming to kids. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

On, Monday 1/20/20 I went to breakfast with son and friend from out of town. I arrived first and when I told owner there would be additional people in my party, he snapped at me as if I was an inconvenience to him. Through the entire visit, the owner was nice to the others in my party, and to others around me, but very nasty to me. He filled their waters but never mine. His tone and overall demeanor towards me was very standoffish. When I went to pay, I was explaining which meals I was paying for, and he yelled and snapped at me “What?!” He was rude and mean in his tone and expressions. I did nothing wrong but go into his establishment for breakfast with my son and friend. I will not return.

The food was very good, however the chef is by far one of the rudest people to ever serve my family food. I would give this place a full five stars but the chef that was also the waiter was so rude that he managed to plummet a full five stars to a mere single star, maybe even 1/2 a star. Just a warning for anyone who steps in there, be prepared to see one very angry chef just by asking for a menu and if you compliment their food, you will be yelled at. The female waitresses have all been extremely kind and wonderful people, but this man has officially managed to lose several costumers just by his awful temper.
