Station Grille

An older building converted into a restaurant. Wood floors and a rustic bar type casual interior. High ceilings and a loft area which we didn't visit. I had the Train Wreck burger, some coleslaw and an iced tea. Service was a little hit and miss but otherwise okay. The coleslaw was good and my burger was excellent but a bit on the spicy side even for me. Good portion size and fair prices. Parking lot is in need of repairs.

Made reservation according to the menu they gave me & took a group of 10 there for Mother's Day. Porter house pork chops were on the menu but it was scratched out. A few things on the menu were x'ed out.Most of us ordered Surf & Turf the surf was shrimp. Our shrimp was burned up & hard as a rock. They shouldn't have served that to no one. Everything like sour cream or butter was an up charge. Last but not least, they ran out of food & had to tell people they didn't have things on a holiday that a large amount of people go out to eat. Never again. Crooked Dock here we come.

Our Mother's Day meal was horrible! We will never eat at this restaurant again. Note to owners, your wait staff was overwhelmed, but very nice! She apologized on numerous things , not clean dishes, cold coffee, to many other things, we felt sorry for her! It was definitely not a pleasant experience!

Tried to order blacked cod and waitress informed me they had no cod because of high fish prices. Hmmm...if no cod, why not put a note on the menu that it's not available. Then ordered a burger instead and asked if I could have grilled onions and waitress said she asked the cooks and they got mad because they were too busy to grill up some onions.

We went on a Sunday afternoon after a round of golf. It was slow. Only one or two other tables sat in the whole place. We were able to watch the Pirates game so that was an awesome bonus. Service was great, food came out perfectly timed after the appetizer. Waitress kept our waters full. Food was good. For a little restaurant in the middle of Wellsburg WV it was great.

Gave this place a second chance after a 3 year off my restaurant list, sorry I went back!! The burger was red inside even though I ask for well done big turn off. How hard can it be for the cook to slice open the burger and inspect the inside no body minds if the patti has a small slice in it!!!!!!!!! The lighting in the sports bar upstairs awful, overall dark but bright spot lights shine in your eyes for some reason??? Don't waste your time on this place.

First time here and enjoyed every bit of my food. I got the philly grilled cheese with house chips. It was absolutely delicious especially when dipped in french dressing. Our waitress was very personable and nice. Kids loved her and how attentive she was. Nice place to eat after a kids baseball game. Only thing I didn't care for that was out of their control, was the two water. It tasted weird to me but I may not be used to this cities water
