I found Singh’s to be surprisingly good, especially considering how there were only two other tables occupied at dinner time. They started everyone out with a small cup of cauliflower soup, which was nicely seasoned. We started with samosas, which were tasty and served hot right out of the fryer. I had the saffron fish entrée and asked for hot, and it came out super hot temperature-wise and spiced just right. And on the side, the onion paratha was great, totally stuffed with onions. The service gets a solid “A” for attentiveness without obtrusiveness. With a daughter at Wellesley College, I’ll definitely be back.

Pretty room, delicious food at Singh's Cafe. The dining room is down a few steps, so feels very cosy and pleasant. We have dined there many times over the years, and always have been delighted. After we ordered dinner the waiter brought each one of us a small bowl of spinach soup, a treat and nice way to start. Lamb samosas were hot and came with a tray of condiments to make them spicier or add a little sweetness. That's a popular appetizer and can be vegetarian. In fact, it is easy to stay with vegetable dishes for the whole meal. Lamb Korma and chicken in dal sauce were delicious. You can order whatever level of spiciness that you prefer, from mild to really, really hot. The waitstaff is friendly and efficent. The room is pretty, and the table is set nicely, with authentic thalis, metal plates. Very sanitary. Singh's has a liquor license. There's plenty of street parking. Singh's was doing a brisk takeout business for customer pickup and the delivery services. As mentioned, the dining room is down a few steps from the street level, so is not handicap accessible for a wheelchair. There is a buffet at lunch every day of the week. They take reservations, but the dining room has not been very full these days.

I have been here for the lunch buffet, sit down dinner, and have used Singh’s for catering. All of the food is excellent. The lunch buffet is definitely a good value. they have a nice outdoor patio when the weather is nice.

I had driven by this place a couple of times and was curious. My aunt and I love to try new Indian food spots so we decided to give it a go. Initially parking was a bit tough because there were meters but also signs saying we couldn't park there. I decided to risk it and park anyways, which worked out fine in the end I didn't get a ticket. The restaurant itself is extremely comfortable and cozy, while tables are still socially distanced. The food was absolutely divine. We had the veggie samosa starter and then I had the butter chicken and my aunt had the chicken curry. We also ordered a naan bread. The flavors in the curry were perfect and the naan was huge and soft and melts in your mouth. Another top option for Indian food in the area

I ordered chili paneer, it taste like ketchup paneer. Very disappointed, please don’t waste your money if you are Indian food lover. Same goes with chicken chili.

Good food here. Taste wise Singh’s cafe is unmatched in and around the Boston area for Indian food. I think the prices are relatively higher than what you’d find elsewhere. The staff are super helpful with their guidance on ordering. We love the Samosas from here. Their peshawari naan and Kulfi are also quite a delight for those with a sweet tooth. You should definitely try the cocktails here that are made with an Indian twist. Overall, our group was very satisfied with the food at Singh’s.

We eat a lot of Indian food. We've gone to a lot of different places and my partners father is from India and cooks very well. We just weren't a fan of what we ordered. The chicken vindaloo was dry and the sauce wasn't very flavourful. The chicken biryani was NOT biryani. It was basically just chicken with seasoned rice which was very disappointing because that is my favorite dish.

We used to come here regularly, it was always on the expensive side for the quality of the food but was a decent option for the neighborhood. Like many restaurants we've been to lately, I can't help but feel that they're surviving on deliveries. Not to say that the food or the service isn't good, but now it seems just too expensive. I wish I could give a more positive response.
