When I was in school I felt that webb city was an excellent school. But now that my children have been in the school district I feel as though the school district has failed them. Since neither one of them are “active” in extra curricular activities, it’s as though they were nothing to them. I am really battling pulling my last child out of the high school to finish at home. I think he learns more from actual every day work than he does sitting in a classroom. He does more hands on geometry and is able to have travel history lessons just from going job to job.

This school (and the school district) permit the beatings of high school students by school administrators (they call it corporal punishment) hitting tenagers with wooden type of paddles that they might have purchased off of some spank website on the internet. On one hand school employees say they are against bullying, but on the other hand they are assaulting these young males and females. There is a youtube video about this culture of violence and a facebook page about Webb city high paddlings. Parents should NEVER allow for or sign for this abuse of their sons or daughters.
