The Tailgate Grill

We were in town on a motorcycle trip and decided to try this place. We had the hot dogs. They were good and the fries were plentiful. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It is mostly a womens owned and run business, which is plus for them. Prices are reasonable and the beer is really good. Great place for a quick bite.

We walked out of the River Burger Grill to come back to the Tailgate Grill because the prices here are just so good, and the burgers are top notch. The fry sizes are SO BIG and the burgers are messy because there's too much delicious burgery goodness for the buns to contain. One of my favorite places to go out and eat. Without a doubt the best burger place in town and the cheapest too. Don't forget to try the tailgate sauce!

My friend told me about this hamburger place so my wife and I decided to give it a try today at lunch time. The location is very good in Waynesboro VA, the building is very pleasant inside and environment also very friendly. The hamburger quality is really good, a thick burger patty with lettuce, onion tomatoe. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger all the way. My wife loved, she said she would come back and I agreed with her as well. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Plenty of fries. We preferred to shared one French fries because we thought there was no need to have two. I hope I helped you, come give it a try!!

I really hate to give this place one star. It was clean, the staff are amazing and the prices are great. I’m giving it one star because only one staff member was wearing a mask. That’s pretty dangerous considering the times. The music was also so loud that the waitress got out order wrong. The place says that they have the best burger in town but it’s just a flat frozen and then reheated patty on a sad bun. If you want a cheap meal that’s ok and cheap beer, then this place is for you. Just don’t put a sign up claiming you have the best burger in town when you don’t. I wouldn’t go back.
