The Bar

HIDDEN GEM! I came all the way here from CR at the suggestion of a fellow "highly professional" Local Guide. He suggested that I try their tenderloins. I was like, "No way! I HATE tenderloins! They make me noxious!" He said, "You WON'T hate these tenderloins". I was like, "Fine, I'll try them, but if I don't like them I will NEVER listen to you again. Make my words". He just laughed and said, "If you don't like it, bring it to me, and I'll give you $50 for your bad experience. If you do like it, you owe me a beer". I said bet and sealed the deal with a firm handshake. Off to Wayland I went. When I arrived, I saw a sign on the building that said: The Bar. Yup, I said to myself grinning. I entered The Bar. A very large lady approached me with a huge grin on her face. "I didn't do anything," I said innocently. "Oh, yes you have," she chuckled, "now have a seat!" I sat down at a table near her. She said, "Would you like anything special?" I said, "The tenderloin. I heard the tenderloins here are to die for. Give me one of those and a good beer to wash it down with". She said, "What kind of beer would you like?" I said, "Surprise me". (I'm German) She said certainly and speed off. There was literally no wait time at all and when she came back, she had a Miller beer and ridiculously huge tenderloin. It was the most monstrous tenderloin I've seen in my entire life! I was like, "Is that thing for real?" She laughed hard and said, "100%!" I took one very small bite of that tenderloin and, holy f**k, it was good! I was instantly transported to Foodie Heaven!! My overall experience? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
