Hot Head Burritos

Service was good and burrito was a step up from anything at Taco 🔔 but don't go into this establishment thinking it's on the same level as Qdoba or Chipotle because it's not. I didn't dislike it but also didn't overly enjoy the self-built burrito I ordered. Also quite expensive- 2 burritos 🌯🌯 + chips and cheese and 2 drinks was over $36.

Love the 2 bowls for $6 on Sunday!!! When we go to the lake, we like to stop in and get the burrito bowls. They are always having new additions to the menu that are a little different and creative. Another thing that we like is the sauces that they offer, unlike Chipotle. They always seem to have many different coupons to drum up new business, but we already love it, so we definitely take advantage of the amazing discounts that they offer.

I have tried hot heads in waverly approximately 10 times over the course of it being open, with all but the 9th time being a bad experience. Because of the great experience the 9th time, I returned just a few days later. I ordered a little burrito. It had corn salsa (which i didnt order) and who knows what other kinds of salsa I didnt order. The burrito fell apart before i even took the first bite and the outside was already stained with fingerprints of salsa. There was not a single part of the tortilla that was sticking to itself upon opening. The inside of the burrito looked like vegetable soup and when picking it up, it was a steady drip or stream coming from the bottom of the burrito. I was able to take 2 small bites before having to throw it out due to the mess. Unfortunately i picked it up on my lunchbreak, so I am unable to find another option for food today and will have to go the rest of the day without eating. As if thats not all bad enough, I requested utensils which I didnt receive. I would have been fine not having the utensils, had I not gotten a soup burrito. I'm not usually one to complain, but this restaurant is just consistently bad and doesnt compare to hot heads in other areas. I will say the only burrito that made me want to come back was made by someone named Morgan, and it was perfect.
