Spring Garden Restaurant

Decided to try this place out. The service was decent, however the lights in there are so dim it's hard to read the menu. The chicken noodle soup had good flavor but no chicken, not one single peace. The fried cod was great and the tarter sauce they had went well with it. Potatoes were good the gravey on them was a little different not sure how to explain. I did not like the coleslaw at all. There was no flavor to it. For the five of us it was 80 that's including a 12 tip. Overall it was good, we will go back and try something else when we're in the area.

The food was great and so was the service but the cook was rude and obnoxious to the staff. He was making loud negative comments that the whole restaurant could hear and had a tantrum at one point throwing around the food tickets and giving his staff two middle fingers acting childish. My daughter actually asked the waitress if he was always that rude and her reply was he is my dad. We are so sad that she and the rest of the staff has to put up with abuse from her father. We were there April 24 2022.
