Wonderful comfort food dishes of all kinds can be found here! Staff is not only friendly but very attentive. Prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are large and filling. The whole vibe was one of hospitable invitation. A great diner!
I came here early in the morning, so I wasn't expecting great service, but I was surprised. Although the wait time was a little long, our waitress was kind and on top of things. My meal wasn't to my liking, but that's only because I stepped out of my comfort zone. NOTE: the helpings here are HUGE, so be prepared to eat a lot or bring some food home.
Another thing, everyone in my company loved their meals, so don't let my experience discourage u. Definitely check this place out when u have the chance!

Had a delicious breakfast recently at The Shack! My hubby had to go for The Mess and loved every bite. My 21month old enjoyed his French toast, over all great food, amazing staff and a must try in Née London.
Incredible breakfast. I knew I needed to bring my "A game" when I saw menu items named "The Mess" and "The Kitchen Sink". Bring your appetite and then some! Great food and service
Their homemade chicken strips were amazing. Service was great as usual and everyone else's food was also just as yummy. Happy plates all around!
Drove off the ferry and straight to “The Shack”
Short and sweet one of the best dam breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Nothing on Long Island compares to this joint. Asked for eggs and home fries the way I like them and out they came burnt too perfection. Every time we are on this side of the pond, we will be sure to stop here!
