I wish I had taken a picture of my Cobb salad before I mixed it up and added the horseradish vinaigrette dressing. It was absolutely gorgeous and everything super fresh. I mean seriously 10/10.

Food is always awesome. Hometown restaurant and great staff. The chef is awesome. Buffalo chicken chowder is award winning for a reason. French onion is in my top 2 best ever. Specials are always different and interesting. Great place.

I’ve never walked into a restaurant & felt so unwelcome. It was a Friday during lunch & believe me when I tell you they were not overly busy by any means. There were some people at the bar and a couple tables dining inside. It took a good 5-7 minutes for the bartender to even look our way to seat us. We were fine with that & understand how demanding the restaurant business can be, however, when he finally got to us & we asked to sit on the patio he went on to explain that “he’s been running his tail off for 2 straight hours” in a very rude way. It was uncomfortable & certainly not any customers fault. We then said we would sit inside and he said “no sit out there but only sit up top” in just a rude tone. It was only two of us, and we were both very confused & kind of like do we just leave??? We didn’t feel as if we were being unreasonable. They have a beautiful patio and it was a gorgeous day, why not sit outside? It seemed he could not handle the very small crowd that was in the restaurant at this time. We chose to stay but we both agreed it wouldn’t be worth going back. Just unfortunate to treat customers as if you don’t want them, I mean isn’t the whole point of owning a restaurant to get people in & have them look forward to coming back?? Very strange but oh well.

We actually took a stroll over to this restaurant as a last minute second opinion and it turned out to be wonderful so much so I had to snap a photo of my beautiful french onion soup.

Stop in here! This is a great place. You can reserve a table in the more formal dining area or grab a hightop in the spacious bar area. The place is spotless, servers attentive. Nice bar selection including draft beer. The menu is diverse, have tried several dishes, all well portioned and quite good. Some day I'll make it to the homemade desserts....

We have been weekly customers of McGreivey's for more than 2 years. After our last experience, we will NEVER go back due to the lack of respect and care the owner, Artie, takes for his customers. I have never seen somebody disrespect and be as rude to customers as Artie is. We asked the server if the red sauce was vegan friendly, after checking with the kitchen, ordered just pasta and red sauce. There were not other vegan options on the menu. The server then came back and informed us that because we are not allowed to order 'off-menu' we had to get a kids meal of pasta and sauce, which we happily agreed to. Moments later, Artie comes to our table very AGGRESSIVELY and yelled at us saying "I am running a business and can't pay my bills, I'm not giving an adult kids food.. you can't just choose what you want, this isn't an Italian restaurant, we have chicken marinara and that's what you can get" and kept yelling and yelling at us to get chicken. When we said we can't have meat he told us "Well you're gonna have to get the kids meal and pay full adult price for it." Then stormed off. We went to pay for drinks and immediately left. This is so unfortunate as we were always big fans of this restaurant, loved all the wait-staff and bartenders. We will miss Emma, Elsie, Georgia, and all the other wonderful people there. McGrievey's just lost many customers for life because the owner, Artie, needs anger management.
