The Stadium Bar & Grille

Nice place drinks good food good sometimes has a good crowd. I’ve been here a few times but would like to leave a review on my last experience because it’s the reason why I can’t give this place full 5 stars. And be the reason why me or none of my friends will be going back. There is a bouncer that works there and his name is Jojo. He said rude homophobic comments towards me and I’m told jojo treats a lot of customers badly. He is supposedly really rude when telling people to leave.I shouldn’t be told I’m kicking you out because your gay it doesn’t give your establishment a good look. Jojo should be reprimanded for profiling,stereotyping,and treating a potential regular customer unfairly.

Terrible experience on August 14, 2015. Music was fine but service sucked. The place was less then packed. Two female bartenders(probably new) one brunette and one blonde were running around as if the Stadium was wall to wall packed(place was dead for a Friday). The bartenders took a little longer than expected to get to us for drinks but we let that slide at first. The bar was a little wet I was trying to flag them down to get their attention to clean it up. First time I was like okay they're busy, second time I said maybe they can't hear me, third time one of them was right next to me and I said "excuse me" louder the the girl ordering the drink next to me still no budge from either females, almost as if they had tunnel vision. Finally, both of them came around to where I was but still not paying attention to me, a paying customer raising my hands, saying "excuse me" many times, so I ended up shouting to both of them, "YOU NEED TO OPEN UP YOUR EYES AND PAY ATTENTION!" while showing them a wet bar top and kind of hinting that it's not as busy as you think ladies. They looked shocked and yet still 20mins later still no clean up or second round of drinks. So I put napkins all over the spill and waited for one to clean it up which the brunette did. I don't work there I shouldn't be doing your job. Last call was before 1:40am😕. We were denied by the blonde drinks 30secs after last call but yet you see the brunette giving beers to people right across. So I asked for shots which was a hassle to get but we got them and she closed our tab but yet still others are getting drinks. They killed our vibe and buzz. So I kindly gave them no tip and wrote on their receipt, "Ladies pay attention to your surroundings. It is less then packed in here." I'm from Waterbury but been living in NYC for 8years, I know what a busy bar looks like and how a bartender should acknowledge a costumer even while they are busy, a simple, "I'll be with you in a sec" makes a huge difference. This is not a busy New York City bar for them to be running around as if it was, when it was dead even for a Waterbury bar! Stadium get it together please. You guys went from okay and decent to rude and desperate. You need to reevaluate the people you seem to just hire. Really hope everything works out for this bar, while I'll be a better serviced one.

Been here so many times. The food was great but throught out the whole visit it felt like they were rushing us out and ignoring us. They even changed the game right before we even left. What happened? I never leave without tipping but this was the first time I had no choice. We've gotten waaaaaaay better service when it was packed. We were literally a couple of no more than a handful of people there.

Ordered “the philly” and nachos. Nachos were burnt and the philly didn’t come as described. It wasn’t a grinder it was on a roll. It wasn’t cheese sauce it was melted cheese. Called them and the girl made excuses and said they never had grinder rolls. Then why is it advertises as grinder roll and cheese sauce. Ordered here twice and both times the food was horrible. Save your money and go else where.
