Tiramisu Italian Restaurant

So I loveee tiramisu the actual cake BUT strangely I didn't have any here and I'll tell you why...The food was just alright...I do plan on returning because in these situations I hate to just give a big fat no to possible redemption we can call it. I didnt finish my food not even my salad...Maybe it was a bad day for them? I have no idea maybe it was just what i choose wasnt good? But my honey also said the same so I have no idea cause Ive seen this restaurant very busy many times and has awesome reviews so I assumed its delish...I will be sure to update this if I do come again. The Calamari was pretty great though I must say that! As for service, the waitress was super sweet but the vibe in the restaurant felt weird from the start and I cant put my finger on why but I wont lose hope maybe ill return some time in the spring when people in general are happier hahah.

This was my first time here today. I ordered the soup of the day, sausage and potato. It appeared to me to be nothing more than pasta fagioli with sausage and potato. I sent the soup back. When the check arrived I had to instruct the server to remove the soup from my bill. It was instantly removed, but it should have been removed prior. The chicken caesar salad was average. I prefer shaved or shredded cheese vs what looked like extremely grated or powdered cheese. The mozzarella sticks were appealing to my eyes, however, my guest and I found the sauce to be quite bland. First time and last time here. Food was mediocre at best and service worse. Watery salad dressing on a salad that the waiter forgot about until I mentioned it as he brought out my main course. Sauce on the pasta was bland, muscles tasted fishy like they were sitting. The waiter was like a zombie and didn't smile once. I rounded up to 3 stars to be nice.

Came here for dinner with family on a Saturday night. Nice atmosphere and the service was quick and attentive. We found the food to be good, but basic. The Paglia e Fieno was my personal favorite. The tomato sauce was definitely the most basic out of everything. The gnocchi was cooked really well and the cannelloni was delicious. I’ve had better clams casino, fried mozz, and arancini.

Came in last night for a date night because we had a gift card and figured we’d use it. Had the fried mozz and penne alla vodka. The food was actually good, especially for the price. Price point was actually cheaper than most other italian style restaurants we normally go to. Sitting at the bar and the First drink took about 10-15 mins to get. Got the bill for $125 and we had a $100 gift card with $43 remaining on it. About 10 mins go by and were told that they were having trouble charging the gift card. Something about their internet wasnt working and the bartender also told us they dont really see actually card gift cards anymore just paper gift certificates. A lady eventually came over and said it couldnt be used because the internet wasnt working yet it worked just fine to charge my credit card. The gift card had the balance written on it and when I looked up the balance online it was available to see. Worked in the restaurant business for almost 20 yrs, I would have just accepted the card as is without ringing it up(if that really was the problem). Most likely will never be back.
