Mary's Diner

Mary's Diner has recently moved down the street to 579 Watertown Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708, USA. And WOW what a delightful improvement. My family had been going to the old location for breakfast for so long, I could not recall our first visit. Well our first visit to the new location will be rememberable. The same staff and the same cooks presenting the same great breakfast; but now in a colorful, sun drenched dinning room. Way wonderful. If you haven't be to Mary's lately or your looking for a wholesome family breakfast, you will be pleasantly surprised by choosing Mary's new digs on Watertown Avenue.

I've been coming for years and choose to deal with some of the annoyances because I like the owners. The trick is to manage them, which I forget to do too often. They take your order quickly, but then ignore you. When they deliver your food ask for more coffee then because you'll have to chase your server down afterward. If you order eggs, make sure you describe the way you want them in more detail. Otherwise they will be brown and dry. Omelets aren't a wrap, they are a mixed scramble cooked like a pancake

I've been coming to Marys Diner since 2008 and as always this place hits the spot with delicious meals whether its breakfast or lunch. They never fail to please. Service is wonderful the staff i know them all, my absolute favorite place and ONLY place I would come to eat when I'm hungry. The owners are such great people. I am a customer for life.
