Pie Guys

Came to this place for a quick takeout. Ordered the chicken parmigiana small 10” pizza and 10 piece sweet chili wings. The food tastes great. Pizza is fresh and sauce is made with real tomatoes. The wings were actually sweet and SPICY. Best wings I’ve had outside of NYC. Blue cheese dipping has real blue cheese chunks in it. Definitely recommend for takeout or delivery.

The customer service is trash! They mess up your order and the manager has an “i don’t care” attitude when you call to complain. They talk to you like you’re lying and make YOU come up with a solution. Not apologetic at all just defensive and weird. I will not be ordering from them again. Not worth it! I ordered loaded fries and got burnt fries, no ranch. They gave me marinara sauce and ruined my meal.

I took a chance with Pie Guys one night when I was simply tired of bad pizza in my local town. and boy, did it pay off. For one thing, the best prices of Any Italian place I know of within 30 miles. More importantly,really good food. I’ve worked in restaurants all my life & I’m from NY so I know good Italian food . I tried a 12 inch cheese pie, with tomatoes & mushrooms. I requested light cheese, heavy sauce, a light bake & soft crust because of teeth issues. Perfect. My snapshot says it all. Flavors were fresh and better than 7 of the 8 restaurants in my area (Wallingford). I also ordered a spaghetti with marinara dinner. The sauce had nice tomato chunks, the way we did it in NYC & the way my grandmother made it. You need whole cooked tomatoes basically smashed, not processed to make this sauce. You can’t get away with crushed from a can plus purée & paste. All the local places by me do that. Pie Guys is Sweet & just about perfect as far as I’m concerned. The pasta wasn’t over cooked which is another thing everyone seems to do. Big portion plus garlic bread and side salad. Can’t say enough about this place. Try it. I guarantee you’ll like it.

Food is good but inconsistent done differently most of the times not good with communication hung up on me after explaining how disappointed I was with the food order grinders are good but never done the same again inconsistent and burnt and hard most of the times.... paid for extra toppings that at times never get but overall food is ok I stick with whats good never order anything different tried it but not for us

manager and workers completely disrespected me on the phone and didnt care to fix my issue. I was midlead about wings I ordered about the size and had undercooked food and Was tossed to 3 different people on the phone and when speaking to the manager guy didnt want to talk to me and handed the phone back to the phone girl I asked her to explain what happened to the manager and she said she couldnt and scouffed at me. Ridiculous customer service, I like their pizza and have ordered from them for all my major events and twice a week for sporting events 200+ a week will not be ordering here after being so disrespected again

Wings are off the chain. Nice size wings. Had the chipotle citrus wings. Awesome. Good delivery time. The chicken fingers are real chicken breast. Order thru their app and skip the DoorDash folks. They have their own delivery people. Keep the money in the business. Great value. Just about everything but the pies come with a side of fries 🍟
