What a cute place to stop in Washington, CT. Coffee a great selection of food and ice cream. Pastries and ready made items to go are placed all around the check out area. Service was friendly and quick, and the food was tasty.
Marty’s was a very cute place to stop! Very friendly and the food was fabulous. Highly recommend the vanilla ice coffee it was so good! Very quick and nice place to sit and start the day.
My sister is a huge Gilmore Girls fan so we stopped in Washington for part of the day to see all the GG spots. (Visiting from GA) Loved this spot for a quick lunch! The steak salad was delicious. Staff was friendly. Price was great too! I only wish I had tasted one of their dessert choices! Highly recommend this spot!
One of the die hard Gilmore Girls fans that was in Boston for vacation and took a day to come to CT for the Gilmore Girls experience. Marty’s was delicious and had the cutest vibe. Their cupcakes and cakes are made by a local in this small town of 6,000. Very cute town and lunch spot.
I start every work morning at Marty's and it makes my day! Not only is the coffee the best ever - they have ruined coffee everywhere else for me as nothing compares! - but the owner and staff are friendly people who make you feel comfortable and at home. Our office can't start the day without our Marty's coffee and many times some of their addicting chocolate chip cookies. Lunches there are a treat too and Marty's is where we tell all our clients looking for a place to eat in town to go. A must stop when in Washington Depot!
Absolutely charming café, bustling with customers. Service was quick and friendly. A thoughtful menu, as well as lots of tempting grab-n-go options (like croissants, pastries and salads). Just looking at the menu, you can tell this business is intentional with what they serve. We had a Curried Chicken Salad wrap, that was loaded with every tasty lil nut-veggie-crunchy thing you could imagine. The Italian Tuna Salad Plate was delicate made with fresh light ingredients. The Peach Smoothie was refreshing and addictive. The Cappuccino was a solid good one. Everything tasted great - incredibly fresh and nuanced flavors. Staff hustles doing an incredible job keeping the line moving. In a state swarming with Dunkins and Starbucks, it's so nice to see small café’s cropping up again. Not just a place to grab a cuppa, it's a place to BE. Would recommend :) :) :) :) 4 smileys
Lovely place, Gilmore girl fans must visit. It was a very pleasant experience. Had coffee and Rory's favorite French toast. I personally flew from Allentown Pa to eat here. I was not disappointed.
A very nice home feel like cafe. staff very kind the price is on point for they food service was fast and the coffee is really good I would come back !!
The Jalapaneo is what I would recommend. I love to spice up every meal that I eat and that includes burgers. I actually really liked the fries and would only rank them behind Five Guys.
Great coffee, pastries, and food! I wanted to go because I’m a huge fan of Gilmore Girls and it does have a little of Luke’s Diner! The workers were really nice
