Searching for a new dining experience brought us to The Brighton. The ramp outside leading to the hostesses put the biggest smile on my face walking in. It was a lively scene with everyone watching football and the beautiful views of the river. Our server and service was excellent! I tried the chicken curry and my bestie tried the salmon and shrimp cocktail. His first bite of his food made him exclaim in joy. My curry was so flavorful with the perfect amount of heat that warmed my heart. And the prices were perfect! No need to break the bank or sell a body part. If you're looking for something fun, fresh and reasonably priced dining, check out The Brighton!

Really good experience! Decided to check out the Wharf yesterday and found The Brighton, the food was really good, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was electric! It’s right near the water, plenty of tv’s (including a projector where they were projecting a game), plenty of beer selections and great cocktails as well! Our server checked on us on a regular basis and was super friendly. I will definitely be back!

The food was delicious! Service was quick and easy, plus our waiter came regularly to check if we needed anything. An overall great experience, and the meal was worth its cost.

I enjoy this place but I see the reason for some other reviews. I wouldn't really suggest much off their cocktail menu, personally. Food is good though. Yes, they do physically keep your card with them, I assume they've had an issue with dashers.

This place is really for large groups to have an easy place up gather and drink what they want and get a little bar food if needed. You don't come here for the food but it gets the job done. The bartenders are usually 'too cool for school' so just expect some attitude so you're not surprised. I always alert folks to not double tip here.. the tip is automatically added in and not easy to see and there is a huge line for 'extra tip' so it is very easy to inadvertently tip 'a lot'. Probably why it's easy to have an attitude behind the bar ;)

I ordered the fish and chips. 5 minutes later the manager comes back and tells me they're out of it. They asked me to pick anything I want from the menu and then they comped it. That's great service. My salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach was excellent!

Great location, Fish and Chips ($20) good, friendly staff. Reasonably priced for The Wharf.

I think the staff were a little perplexed as to why two Brits would go all the way to DC and go to a British themed pub. However, this place is nothing like a British pub decor-wise and I don't think it's trying to be. The menu had some British staples like fish n chips and Shepard's pie (which was made with beef for some reason). However we were looking for crab dip and lobster rolls, something never found on a UK pub menu. I thought both were great! It was my first time eating these dishes so I'm unsure how they are meant to be but it doesn't matter because they were delicious. Cocktails were good too. Service was fine and wait times were reasonable, can't complain.

Different take on food and drinks! Open seating, order everything at the bar. Pay ahead. You get a table # and food brought out to you. I hand a house made summer shandy and it was delicious. Kids liked their fish+chips and chicken tenders. My veggie burger was fab as well.

I was on my way to shake shack when the gravitational pull of 30 buckets of miller high Life pulled me in. I had been looking for this while in DC. The place was not overly full either so I liked that and the short rib burger with bacon and egg was delicious..sat there a while and people watched and listened to the music across the way..My kind of place.
