Stopped by for lunch earlier today. The place was immaculate, the service was very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious!! Will definitely visit again if I'm in the neighborhood.
You cannot have a more authentic northern Indian cuisine in DC. Try the Gulab Jamun as a dessert and as well their Raita. Amazing!
My favorite Indian restaurant in DC. I've eaten here countless times over the years, both dine in and takeout, and just really love NaanWise. If you eat in, their cocktails are delicious and surprisingly affordable, but NaanWise is also the best for lazy movie night takeout. I eat here multiple times a month and it's delicious every time.
Must try this lovely Indian cuisine. Their staff and food everything was amazing. We ordered their chicken biryani, chicken 65, dal tadka, naan and mango lassi. Everything was super tasty. Highly recommended!!
I had an exceptional dining experience at this Naan wise! The flavors were truly authentic, and each dish was a delightful journey through each cuisine. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exquisite taste of India and Nepal!
We had excellent north-Indian and fusion appetizers. I particularly appreciated the kid-friendly cheese naan for our lunch before the zoo. The pakoras and samosa were delicious, and the chai was an excellent, spice-forward diversion from the typical offering. The ordering experience was seamless: physical menus matched the online ordering system and dine-in service was prompt amid steady takeout orders.
The restaurant uses a QR code based ordering system, so you can take your time with ordering and closing the tab when you’re ready to leave. There is also a server who comes around to refill your water and check-in to see if you need anything.
Everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. We got the vegetable samosas, shahi paneer, aloo gobi, and some rotis and puri (so, so good!). The portions were generous and the food came out lightning-fast. Also, the restaurant offers five spice levels for the entrees, which is really helpful if you’re dining with people who have different levels of spice tolerance. All in all, this is a solid spot for Indian food.
This place has some great food and they have a great environment, the environment made me feel great with some music and nice modern approach, staff was friendly. There are a few occasional stains here and there but nothing unsanitary. I would recommend this to anyone who is not Indian or anyone who doesn’t have a spice tolerance but wants to try the most flavorful food because they have options for less spice. This is a great restaurant and I would definitely eat here again. 9/10 would recommend.
Great service and great food. Highly recommend to go adventurous and try dishes you don't usually try (e.g., skip tikka masala).
I’ve been on the hunt for a good Indian restaurant in DC and I found one!
