The food and service here are wonderful. They helped me with getting a charcuterie and cheese tray prepped up to go so that I could surprise my wife. They even were able to accommodate her gluten allergy. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be visiting again!

We had the best girls night at La Jambe on 7th street! As three ladies who love cheese, we were excited to try the cheese board and order the burrata and tomatoes on impulse! Both were so delicious and the staff took time to explain each cheese to us and where they source their ingredients! We even had an allergy in the group and our server made sure to tell us what all was safe for her to eat. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and I loved the pickles that came with it. The chocolate dessert was also amazing and I would come back just for that and a cocktail anytime!! We will definitely be back in the future, totally worth checking out if you are in the Shaw area! Great food and great atmosphere!

Nice atmosphere and food. We went several months ago when they had a Switzerland theme. Good grilled cheese sandwiches. Unrelated to that though and the reason for my review now—for the love of all that is holy will somebody put the bird of paradise in the front window out of its misery? There is an entire nation of mealybugs living on it.

La Jambe is phenomenal. The pappardelle is delicious. The wine is lovely. The staff is friendly and service is amazing. I can’t say enough positives things about this place, it’s one of my favorite spots in DC!

We were a big group and went here for breakfast and most of us ate at the bar. It’s a smaller space in terms of the seating area and there was only indoor seating at the time because of the weather. I had an omelet and french toast, both of which were great. Everyone liked their food here!

Great time! Food was on point, mustard seed salad dressing was excellent. Don’t bother with a mimosa, go right for the Champagne and liquor or Potions Brunch; nothing says brunch like dumping liquor in champagne.

The taste of the beers is incredible ‘Blanc’ the best! Incredible taste’s dishes. I think they should specify that the place is very gourmet, and the plates are small for that reason.

It is very difficult to rate a place that has become so intertwined with some of the most joyful moments of my life. Not only has La Jambe, its staff, and its regulars become a second-home and family, it is where my wife and I have celebrated some of our happiest milestones and created treasured new memories. La Jambe has evolved since we started going regularly for happy hour and small plates about 5 years ago. In addition to its fantastic hand-picked wines, inventive cocktails, and great cheese and charcuterie plates it now has an elevated bistro menu that is one of the best in the city. The current chef and kitchen team is unbelievably talented. I highly recommend the steak au poivre and home-made gnocchi, and you should consider stopping by to check out each of the rotating small plates. Every one offers something new and interesting that I do not see very often at similar spots in the city. The front of house is as talented as they are special. Kind, considerate, and professional are the first words that come to mind. Additionally, each member of the team brings an elevated level of uniqueness and quirkiness that is only matched by their expertise and collective joie de vivre. Do not hesitate to ask for a La Surprise if you're interested in a cocktail or check out some of the interesting French wines that owner Ana curates. Go to La Jambe and enjoy what Ana has created. It's more than a French outpost with wine, cocktails, and small plates. It's a welcoming gathering place where you too can enjoy yourself with great food, drink, and service.

I ate dinner here on a Saturday. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I would eat here again. The servers were pretty knowledgeable and clearly enjoy discussing items on the menu in depth. The dish the stood out the most was the steak. The gnocchi is above average. I was impressed by the prawns. Also, check out the aperitif menu, even if it isn't your thing.
