Not large, but a nice selection of independent retail & food vendors. Lots of places to sit & enjoy your food both inside & out. It's neighborhood is filled with restaurants & shops. & has reasonable Metro accessability.

The place wasn't crowded, allowing us to order food without waiting in lines. However, the space inside was limited. We took brisket and fish & chips. Both dishes were delicious. Portion sizes are great for its price.

We love stopping by Union Market. It’s perfect because we can stop in and try so many different types of food. We all get something different and share. It’s in a great location and so many options. There are also several shops where you can find unique gifts.

Awesome place to try out a lot of different types of food. Definitely recommend.

Union Market is the epitome of a food hall done right!
The perimeter walkway makes it easier to do a lap and see most of the food stalls and shops. You have so many choices of different kinds of foods, you truly won’t ever get tired of that place; there’s always something new for you to try.

Gotta give this glorified food court a five although I wish there was more seating. This old “rough” area of warehouses has been so gentrified that the hordes come to eat. But you can find many different things and that gives many options. Which is nice.

Great local spot, and also a worthwhile location for out-of-towners. Good options for food and then a great rooftop spot with a bar, lawn, games, and seating. Perfect stop to eat and hang out for a while.

Wow! So many choices and such a great space. Our family of four all chose different places to eat and we all loved our choice. So yummy. Amazing food. Highly recommend

Love this place. So much option in such a small place! Large food selections for such a good price. You’ll immediately smell deliciousness as soon as you walk in. There are also restaurants in the surrounding area so you definitely have have plenty to choose from. The only bad thing is that it gets really crowded. But definitely worth the visit.

Think of the market at Fisherman's Wharf in Seattle - but better.
This is an old warehouse building filled with a dozen or so food places with a variety of different styles and cuisines along with a few shops.
It always seems to be buzzing with plenty of people about, it's family friendly and there's an outdoor seating area where you find lots of people with dogs.
Rooftop bar at the top with views of the surrounding area.
Definitely a must visit if staying in the NoMa area of DC.

similar in style to chelsea market in nyc but with less options and more expensive. paid $20 for this salad which wasn't all that great. but the overall vibe of this place is nice if you can find a table; probably shouldve chosen a different vendor.

Food court warehouse of all different cuisines. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Hi Lawn is located on its roof. Very conveniently has a parking lot next to it

This is a great spot with something for everyone. Lots of global options with some American classics in the mix as well. It can be pretty busy on weekends though, so be prepared to spend a little bit of time waiting in line or waiting on food. Lots of places sell beer and wine, or craft cocktails. Most shops don't have their own seating area, and a free indoor table is pretty hard to find, but there are plenty of seating options outside. It's fun to mix and match different foods from different vendors!

Union Market is a great spot for weekday lunches and snacks or weekend explores.
The variety of food at each of the stalls inside is likely to meet most people’s palettes. There’s enough seating inside and outside to accommodate when it’s crowded.
Grab something small for a taste, then BBQ or burgers or Indian food or whatever you desire. Finish off with some ice cream or something else sweet and head to the rooftop for some good views and open air.
Also, walk around the area near the market, there’s plenty of shops and other food options to keep you and your taste buds busy.

Similar to Chelsea market in NYC and Reading terminal market in Philly but with more room to walk around and higher end selection. Lots of sustainable, locally sourced food. Choices include Korean, handmade pasta, exotic juices - all nicely presented and pricey. Nice vibes.

This is DC‘s riff on the now somewhat common food hall and merchandise market. Since we were visiting from out of town and staying fairly close by, we were happy to find the diversity of cuisines and many reasonably priced options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are some cool features like ping-pong tables at street level and a large rooftop deck with seating. This review is as of April 20 22 and it seems like some of the stalls may still be closed due to Covid or perhaps maybe they’ve permanently closed but there is still a lot of good stuff going on, coffee, Ramen, bagels, dumplings, donuts, ice cream, Italian pastries and more…
If you’re in the area or passing by, it’s definitely worth stopping in to check out.
