Great food and friendly staff. All their appetizers are great, but my favourite is the brussel sprouts. And the spicy noodles are delicious and have quite the kick! So good!

Best secret in DC. Unique and authentic Thai food. Great vegetarian selection. By far best neighborhood restaurant. If you like spicy, you'll really love this place. Try the steamed buns!

A great place to go for Asian comfort food, homey vibes, and decent neighborhood Thai food. The Pad Thai was my favorite dish I ordered from the menu, the meat dishes (Pork shoulder and Mou Ton) were a bit underwhelming but still delicious! I would consider coming back to this place to try the curries :)

5 stars! BKK Cookshop is a hidden gem in DC that serves up innovative and transformative Thai food. The flavors are bold and complex, and the dishes are beautifully presented. I've tried a number of things on the menu, and I've never been disappointed. My favorites from the starters section are the Brussels Sprouts and Dumpling Soup. The Brussels sprouts are charred and crispy, and they're tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce that is addictive. The dumpling soup is light and flavorful, and the dumplings are perfectly cooked. From the Noodles and Rice Dishes section, I love the Spaghetti Drunken Noodles and Bangkok Spicy Noodles. The drunken noodles are made with wide rice noodles that are stir-fried with shrimp, pork, and vegetables in a sweet and savory sauce. The Bangkok spicy noodles are made with thin rice noodles that are stir-fried with chicken, basil, and chili peppers. Both dishes are incredibly flavorful and satisfying. From the Noodle Bowls section, I can't get enough of the Hot and Spicy Noodle Bowl, the Tom Yum Shrimp Bowl, The Suki Noodle Bowl, and the Green Curry Bowl. The Hot and Spicy Noodle Bowl is made with rice noodles that are swimming in a spicy broth with pork, shrimp, and vegetables. The Tom Yum Shrimp Bowl is made with rice noodles in a sour and spicy broth with shrimp, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The Suki Noodle Bowl is made with rice noodles in a clear broth with pork, shrimp, vegetables, and a fried egg. The Green Curry Bowl is made with rice noodles in a green curry broth with chicken, vegetables, and bamboo shoots. All of these bowls are packed with flavor and are sure to please. The only dish I wasn't crazy about was the Boat Noodle Bowl. I found the broth to be a bit too fatty for my taste. From the Kitchen Features section, I absolutely love the Khao-Kapao with Kai-Dao and Pik Nam Pla. I've had it with both tofu and minced chicken, and both versions are amazing. The Khao-Kapao is a stir-fried dish made with rice, holy basil, chili peppers, and either tofu or minced chicken. It's served with a fried egg on top and a side of Pik Nam Pla, which is a fish sauce with lime juice and chili peppers. The flavors in this dish are incredible, and it's one of my favorites on the menu. I also enjoy the Larb Gai, which is a minced chicken salad with herbs and spices. I've also had it with fried tofu, and it's just as good. The Larb Gai is light and refreshing, and it's the perfect way to start a meal. The side of cucumber salad is also excellent. It's made with thinly sliced cucumbers that are tossed in a light vinaigrette. The cucumber salad is refreshing and helps to cleanse the palate between bites. Overall, I highly recommend BKK Cookshop. The food is amazing, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

My friend and I really enjoyed our meal at BKK Cookshop. The mango dish pictured offered complex flavors from sweet to spicy. Amazing! We enjoyed our beef satay ad the noodle dish. The atmosphere is bland, but tolerable.

This was my 2nd time trying Thai cuisine and it was amazing. We ordered takeout: chicken Pad Thai, sticky rice, and steamed vegetables, the staff couldn’t be nicer, the food was plenty, delicious, flavorful, and packaged very nicely, the presentation was awesome. We have leftovers for another meal, prices were more than reasonable, will go back again. Thanks!

Great food and service. We stopped in mid-afternoon so it was a quiet time, but the service was wonderful and the kitchen was fast. Our table was cool and the location worked very well for us. A very nice experience.

Our group of four dined in last night. The appetizers were all exceptional, highly recommend: Gyoza, Thai wings, spring rolls, and the Brussels sprouts, YUM! The standout meals were the pad Thai and a rice dish with sausage and pineapple. Lots of vegetarian options too! Reasonable prices and generous portions, we’ll definitely return!

This is a hidden gem. Quality street Thai food in the heart of Shaw DC. My friend and I stopped by and ordered the spring rolls, chicken fried rice and beef pad Thai. The rolls were stuffed with meat and fried to perfection. The rice had some heat and awesome textured. The pad Thai was plentiful and very generous in quantity. The drinks and happy hour specials here are great as well. Our service was awesome and the food came out quickly. Flavors on point and not overly expensive. If you want authentic Thai food this is your spot
