District Taco

Good choice if you are looking to eat Mexican food in the area. The street tacos were very good and authentic. Didn't have any major issues with the food, except that it was a little overpriced for what you are getting. The service was fine, but seemed a little slow. Still had a good experience overall.

Great food, exactly what we were looking for after a long day of tourist activity. They have kiosks where you can customize your meal exactly how you want, and a short wait later they'll have it ready! We were so glad to have a nice air conditioned and clean spot for a lunch break. We will definelty be back in when we are in town next!

Do yourself a favor and get the carnitas! Chicken and steak are fine. Tacos were pretty good! Service was average at best; the staff wasn't nice or available to really do anything besides cook so maybe they were understaffed. I loved the queso. Guac was pretty good but a little too salty. The chips were pretty salty as well. I would definitely come back but not my favorite taco place.

In the DC area? Check this place out! I was surprised to learn that this is a chain, because the food certainly tastes and holds the quality of an authentic Mexican taco shop (in my American opinion, anyway, lol!). The staff is kind, ordering on the screens is so easy, and the food came out very fast. I had a burrito, which was very flavorful and filling, and we also shared chips and salsa. The salsa is fresh and very tasty. Overall very pleased with everything -- I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good bite that's worth the price!
