I've been meaning to write a review here for months now. This restaurant is amazing. Ambiance, affordability, menu, all A++! We got so much food, awesome value and the taste of everything was fresh, hot and delicious! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was positive and chill. Go and experience this place, you will be glad you have. The pics don't do justice to the food and presentation. We had so much, we just tore into before we could snap shots.
Ambiance: Casual, calm, elegant
Parking: Street meter parking is available
Pricing: Somewhat cheap
Food (flavors): I did not eat the pork or red meat based dishes. The mushroom balls were LOVELY; they were perfectly crisp on the outside and had a creamy texture on the inside with a subtle sweet flavor; it was great. I also loved the tomato bread; the garlic & olive oil really elevated its flavor. The octopus was cooked well but I wish the mashed potatoes that it came with had more fatty and savory flavors. I didn’t like the green sauce that was drizzled on it. The shrimp dish was packed with savory, fatty, and garlic flavors: I enjoyed it. The paella was BOMB; the rice was cooked perfectly, there was a lot of seafood in it, and the flavors just made sense together (10/10 from me). The potatoes were also seasoned and cooked well and the sauce paired well with it. The churros also tasted great with the caramel sauce!
Portion size: Typical size for tapas. I ordered a medium sized paella which was huge and we had leftovers even after 6 people had eaten from it.
Drinks: I had a pineapple mimosa but I wish the ratio of juice to alcohol was more balanced so that it would taste better.

Just visited Boqueria and OMG, it was an absolute delight! 🥳 The PAELLA 🥘 was to die for - so flavorful and generously sized. Even for just the two of us, the medium was more than sufficient! 🍽️👭 A minor note: the clams and mussels had a bit of a rustic taste, but it wasn't a big issue, just something common with shellfish.
The Croquetas De Setas were a dream come true - creamy mushroom bliss with a divine truffle aroma 👌🍄. Three was definitely not enough for us!
Pintxo Moruno and Grilled Steak 🥩 were both splendid, but the eggplant 🍆 was the unexpected star! More delicious than the steak, if you can believe it!
Don't miss their churros - not on the main menu, but a must-try! Thinner than usual, which makes them extra crispy, and the homemade chocolate is to die for. 🍫😋 I'm already planning my next visit for these churros!
Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great vibes, amazing food, and top-notch service. Can't wait to go back! 🤤👍
Food was mixed. Best part of the meal for me was the Valenca. Citrus and cinnamon drink (non alcoholic). Made my mouth explode. I rate the Valencia as GREAT. polpo so so- was a bit chewy and no flavor. the fried potatoes were good.. eggplant was good shrimp was good. Spanish ham was excellent. its a Tapas place, so you end up trying another of things, but spending money
The potato was average, and the serving of mushroom croquestas was a small serving to be sharable. Paella was very very delicious. I ordered large between two people and a lot was left so make sure you are hungry!
Got to enjoy some small plates filled with flavor and enough to try most of the menu. My waitress Laura was friendly and informative. She gave great recommendations for the drinks.
Short trip to DC. This restaurant was recommended by a few friends and it did not disappoint. If you like tapas, go! Drinks and food were both outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday night.
On May 16, 2023, we went to have a late lunch. The food is good for lunch, even if we only can order two tapas only. The manager (Kevin DeLong) and host(James Jackson) are nice and helpful, but the server, Kenny Valasquez needs to adjust his attitude and be a better server. Got a free dessert from manager because Mr. Kenny Valasquez' super obnoxious attitude.
Great atmosphere and design. Wonderful service and good food.
Went for a quick lunch and had the Croquetas de Jamon, Patatas Bravas, Maiz Rustido and the Zanahorias Con Mojo Verde (all were great). We also ordered the Alhambra 'Reserva' Roja and Sangria Blanca.
Note, if you are coming with kids - the potatoes and the corn are on the spicy side.
The food was really great. One of the best tapas we had. Beautiful interior and nice service.
