The reviews do not lie, I had an absolutely delicious salmon blt sandwich. The smoked salmon is shredded instead of sliced, the lettuce looks disproportionately stacked, but with the slightly sweet bacon and the sauce they put on the bread, it all works perfectly together. Get it on rye bread. This immediately became one of my go-to lunch spots.

The salmon BLT and Avocado BLT was simply amazing. Real talk. I wasn’t stuffed or felt tired after. The grilled mussels aren’t for me. But were ok for those that love them. I’ll try certain foods once. Hands down the Salmon BLT with apples, avocado on sunflower seed bread hit the spot! This is definitely a treat.

I've never really been a smoked salmon fan. Hell, I've actually never really been huge on smoke-flavor overall! But this joint changed my mind. Letting the manager, Santiago,know my preferences, he suggested I start with the RAINBOW TROUT AND PEAR SALAD. Amazing. I was blown away. From there, I branched out to the WHITEFISH Salad sandwich. I also enjoy the smokey hummus and smoked artichoke dip. It's all very good!! And for being in Union Market, it is certainly one of the better priced locations. At face value it might seem expensive, but compared to other vendors, the prices are very reasonable for a quality, fulfilling meal. Not everything comes with bacon, but frankly, it should because this bacon is awesome and makes everything even better. Don't like bacon, then sub avocado. Take note, bagel sandwiches are only on weekends and they only offer gravlax salmon. (Still delightful). What can be better? For starters, the menu hasn't changed. The mother location in Baltimore offers so much more as well as new things. I would appreciate maybe a small seasonal change in the menu. Also, the house cardamon-ginger lemonade is to die for!! Cardamon is my favorite spice so I am a little biased. however, the lemonade isn't always consistent. Sometimes there is way too much of the cardamon-ginger syrup making it a thick, sugar drink with a hint of tartness. They need to establish a consistent recipe or method for mixing to ensure an always tasty product. Long story longer, EAT HERE CUZ ITS AMAZEBALLS!!!!! It'stotally worth every penny!

Smoked. Salmon. Any way you want it. Preferably on a bagel with cream cheese, or a salad, or a BLT sandwich. We got the bagel and lox and were impressed by the amount of salmon actually came on it. I assume other places don't use as much because their salmon is not as high-quality, but Neopol doesn't have that problem. Check out that bagel in my pictures! It looks incredible right? Neopol Savory Smokery is or should be the reason that people frequent Union Market. It has hands down the single most delicious sandwich in all of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Indeed, their salmon BLT -- which features a large scoop of their home-smoked salmon concoction firmly positioned between two slices multi-grain bread, fresh lettuce, tomato, and dijon aoli -- reinvents flavor and freshness in way I didn't know to be possible. For a the price of just over $9, this fresh sandwich is also quite the bargain. Sometimes when I'm not feeling exactly in the mood for the added bacon slivers, I opt for the avocado for no additional charge. This place deserves to be part of the contemporary Washingtonian vocabulary. I imagine it's on its way there as we speak.
