Fantastic food, service, and super chic but approachable. Wonderful esoteric wine list and creative craft cocktails with unique ingredients- including squid ink! Hanger steak was fabulous! A great addition to H street!

The ambiance was good facing the road. Place runs on vermouth cocktails. The price of cocktails is high for the value and the quantity. Cauliflower fry is the best dish from what we had. We had lamb pasta and chicken kabobs. Overall good experience. Waiters were great!

Very chill spot. Since the place is not that big, you get quality customer service. We ordered hot chocolates, ice coffees and baklavas…. And they were all rest good. This place definitely has their own twist. They also have a full menu to include happy hour.

We stopped in before a show at Atlas Arts across the street. The service was top notch. We asked first if we'd have time for dinner before our show and they said we did but also demonstrated cognizance of our timing. The food was excellent. I'm vegetarian but my friend is not, so we got a whole range of food and it was all great. I will definitely come back again. (The only "negative" is that there isn't much soft seating and a lot of hard surfaces so would be noisy when full. Lucky for us, dining early, there was only one other table and though they were loud, it wasn't oppressively so.)

Great cocktail selection of cocktails, some seldom seen on menus. Food was excellent we tried many items from the menu, and they were very helpful with simplifying items for our kids. Thanks for a great dinner!

Not to familiar with the Area, but went after Van gough Experience. This was one of those hidden gems! Wonderful staff and chef brought food out himself! High quality food and service! If you’re looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience, go here! Loved it!

I give it five stars because our waiter was phenomenal, I really wish I got his name. Our service was excellent. The food was really good as well. All the greens were especially fresh. I liked the vibes and atmosphere of this place is great. They have a balcony you can go out on and have drinks too. They have cool window seats down on the first floor where you feel to be sitting right on H street.

We had a good time here. We went her for brunch. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. No loud music which is great. The food was delicious and fresh. But the Turkish breakfast was a little bit too scattered. I wish I had more koftes with less other things.

My family and I had a fantastic meal to celebrate the holidays together at Sospeso. I requested a “group dining” experience using the events form on Sospeso’s website. Through this process, I was able to work with Mike (the owner) to organize a wonderful three course meal for my family, with wine and cocktail pairings. It was a tremendous hit. The meal opened with a house-made vermouth and champagne cocktail, and we did spreads (hummus, labneh, baba ghanoush, olives). Then we had half pours of white and red wines with our entrees. The red was my family’s favorite — it was an incredible 2013 Nebbiolo that Mike and the staff had opened ahead of time to let it breathe. The evening concluded with a brandy cocktail and dessert. In sum, the food was delicious, the wine and cocktail pairings were dynamite and thoughtful, and the service was also very attentive. I also loved that they made nice print-outs of our menu — a nice keepsake for a memorable meal with family.
