The food is really delicious, Venezuelan with a twist of Peruvian. Try the arepitas and yucas with guasacaca 😍 the chicken is perfectly juicy, the mojo was great. Don't expect a sit down fancy restaurant, this place is a "take a quick bite" kind of place, fast good food place. Long tables bar type.
If you're serious about juicy Peruvian chicken, this place is it! The yuca and plantains are on point, too.
I tried the chicken mac n cheese and it was incredibly good. They gave a generous amount of meat, and the chicken was way better than any other place I've tried! 10/10 I would go here again the food came out very fast too. I also love that they had options that are gluten free for my wife (no gluten free mac n cheese though)
Reasonably priced food including vegetarian options. The seasonal domino arepas included well-seasoned beans and plantains, and it was delicious. Definitely coming back.
If you are looking for an affordable and delicious dinner in DC, look no further. You go up to the counter and order 1/4, 1/2, or whole chicken (there are a few other options as well). The rice was on point, and the coleslaw had a touch of tajin which was amazing. I am totally coming back.
Oy vey. Real deal Peruvian chicken. Inexpensive. Delicious. SO juicy! Lots of side options. Yummy adult drink options. Great choice for quick dinner alone or with a group. I had 1/4 chicken, two sides- yucca fries and mac/chz. If I lived near here, I'd be here once a week at minimum!
Didn’t have any expectation for the roasted chicken here but it turned out to be 100 times better than the ones in the grocery store. The 1/2 dark meat was very juicy and full of flavor. We also went back for the second time and got the whole chicken but the breast part wasn’t as good. So would rather get 2 * 1/2 dark meat.
Wow, I would eat here everyday if I could. The arepa and brasera wrap were delicious! Very friendly and wonderful staff.
I love a great speak easy! Make your way to Chicken & Whiskey for incredible cocktails. The old fashion was one of the best I have had. Wonderful time with made back vibe. Keeping the inside secret aka speak easy style! 🥃😎
Fun little speakeasy. I love finding speakeasy’s when I’m out of town. This was a great little hidden gem. Enter in through the freezer door in back of restaurant. Freezer door opens to a whole world of fun with great cocktails, dj and a good crowd. Drinks were done well and the bartenders were very helpful. It’s a fun spot to hang out. It’s casual and the prices were pretty reasonable. Stop by the front to grab some food on the way out. I was here on a Wednesday night and it was lively.
Get the tequila drink and chicken tenders!!!

The staff is fast on their feet and very nice.
You’ll only have to wait about 10 mins for your food and less then 5 for your drinks.
I went here on a Tuesday, and was then only one their—- weekend evens can get a bit crowded
Came to DC for a few things and decided to stop here for lunch. Chicken wings were freshly cooked, a little over cooked (most definitely prefer slightly over cooked than under) but the fries seemed cold /been sitting a while. Overall pretty good
