Wingos

Decent and huge chili cheese beef hot dogs and fries was what I ordered here. I received 10% off of my order (Thanks Yelp!) but actually got 20% off because they had like a double coupon match day or something. I'm not used to paying $12 for hot dogs, but these babies were huge! My apple bites were cooked too long and were not very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, so in the trash they went. There's no indoor seating. Be prepared to wait upwards of ten minutes on your food. Overall, decent experience.

Fantastic no-frills, basic wing takeout spot, just how I like it. Got the mambo sauce and lemon pepper wings. Wings were a good size, very meaty, hot, cooked perfectly with a good balance of crisp and juicyness, and both flavors were delicious. Would most definitely come back if I was in the area again.

I came here after a night of partying. Hadn’t had mambo sauce in so long and was searching for the perfect place to ease my craving and this place was perfect. The wings were at a perfect crisp and the mambo sauce was sooooooooo good!!!! I will definitely be back!!!!! Hands down the best wing spot in dc!!!

Came to this location from Google reviews and found I didn't have my wallet after I placed an order.. but with the help of 7eleven and Samsung pay I was able to get some money out. Came back and they still had my order up but didn't think I'd return the manager/ owner jolly big guy found out I didn't have enough for my 1st order placed and instead of having me reduce my order he paid the difference. Friendly atmosphere, great wings (every wing had a good amount of meat quite surprising) I'll definitely be back

It was my second last day in DC. I wanted wings, good wings. I'd already helped myself to some wings from Hooters a few nights earlier, but I needed something fresh. Something gritty. I looked on Maps and Wingo's was suggested, so I got an uber there. Little did I realise, Wingo's is not a restaraunt, but a takeaway. However, it didn't stop me from destroying my 20 wings on the bench outside. I probably looked miserable and alone, but the wings were all that mattered. The curly fries were good too, though by the 16th wing I was running out of room. Good takeaway, would come again. Thanks!

I order from here a lot when I'm lazy because it's one of the only late options on Grubhub, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a decent local wing joint. They have their own take on some classic sauces like BBQ, buffalo and parmesean garlic which is fun to try and see how they differ. However, they don't have anything out of the ordinary. Food quality has always been solid and price is great so it's definitely worth a try. 4.5 stars (minus a half cause they only serve wedge fries 😝)
