I had never been to this place before so was kinda sceptical about eating here but figured I'd give it a try. I had a small sandwich, don't remember the name of it exactly but it was turkey, Swiss or provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, and balsamic vinegarette. Basic sandwich. I wish I could've taken some of the vinegarette home. It made the sandwich sooo good! A little spicy and I'm not into spicy food but it was delicious. Had a lemonade, not too sweet, just right for me though. The place was clean with a few tables so you can eat on the premise.

Grabbed a great sandwich here and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice place to stop for a quick bite on H St, and they have ample seating to eat in as well.

Very good sandwiches. Good quality meets at a gourmet level. One of a kind sandwiches that you won't get anywhere else. Very creative and taste pleasing goodness.

Great sandwiches, but new items can be a gamble as they tend to have too many ingredients or toppings that don't compliment each other

Good gourmet sandwiches! Not much more I can say because the ingredients tasted fresh and the flavor of my Italian sandwich was good. I wish the inside was a bit more inviting to dine in, but the food is definitely quality.

Taylor is always so delicious! You really cannot go wrong with anything you get. Their gluten free wrap is amazing and doesn't compromise the flavor of their sandwiches, as sometimes happens with gluten free food.

Taylor has finally reopen in it's founding location on H Street after some major renovation. We have been missing it so much as their really is no other great sub option on H Street. It is one of the cornerstones of H Street! We miss you guys! As at all it's locations across the city and Northern Virginia, their subs are amazing. The seasonal options are a bonus. You really can not go wrong with anything on their menu.

No different from any other Taylor Gourmet, which is to say the sandwiches are a little pricey but they're large and delicious. The menu continues to change and rotate with the seasons so there's always something new to try.

Amazing sandwiches made with quality ingredients. The Jackson is my FAVE and I get it almost every time. Sometimes my boyfriend and I split the large sandwich and it's enough for both of us.

This location is the original DC location of Taylor Gourmet. Now they are all over the city and suburbs. This location has two main rooms for people to sit and is in the middle of the bustling H Street NE food scene. When Taylor's first opened, the bread was made fresh from Philly early each morning and driven to this location (How cool is that?!). I am sure they no longer do that, but the bread is still quality as is the menu. Taylor Gourmet makes seasonal sandwiches now, but I'm still a sucker for their chicken cutlet sandwiches like the Vine. It's perfectly breaded chicken cutlet with pesto sauce, prosciutto, and provolone. It's pretty big so definitely just order a sandwich; no need for extra food. The one downside of Taylor Gourmet is their soda fountain. They sell artisan sodas, but I don't think it's very good and the taste seems always a tad off. My recommendation to Taylor is to find another artisan soda maker. Other than that, this is a GREAT place for an easy meal.
