I order the 1/4 chicken medium sauce with rice and it was amazing! The chicken was so juicy and the medium sauce was the perfect blend of spice. The rice was delicious also. Over all I was very satisfied with my meal. The only thing I am sad about is there is not one in San Diego. Definitely recommend �
Even though I got lemon & herb chicken instead of medium spiced I enjoyed the meal & meat was nice & tender. .

During my short visit in DC, my friend from Zambia insisted we head over here to eat since there wasn’t any out west to remind him of home.
This decision, did not disappoint. I was impressed with the piercing spices and flavors brimming from the open kitchen. While originally we intended to have a fair plate of wings and some appetizers but since they were out of wings at the time they gave us a full chicken platter while we had to wait a good 30-40 minutes.
It was explosive, it was decisive. This place definitely has my interest. I even mentioned that it beats Bolivian and perhaps Peruvian dining with the mesh of flavors possible to consume, plus for once I could clean off a whole wing entirely with little effort.
Even after taking the rest home, the reheated version still tasted great and the access to unlimited sauce was to die for. Can’t wait to grab my free bottle and they even gave use a couple free entree vouchers. You’ll never be displeased by their loving service, unless you’re bringing unnecessary stress of course.
Oh, and did I mention we even got a free dessert on top of this?! Bloody fantastic work from the staff!
The place was very spacious and clean. It had a very modern feel to it. Wide open spaces for handicap accessibility.
While the price was a bit high that is something you expect in DC. The staff was helpful and I like that they give you an option to either order off a QR code at your table or you can place your order at the counter.
The food was delicious but spicy but that is their whole thing, spicy sauces! You have a great deal of options and their mango lime sauce was delicious as were their sweet potatoes. And their bread sticks are addictive, incredibly delicious!
There are two unisex, single room bathrooms that were spacious, very clean and decorated to match the restaurants neat theme.
This is a place I will happily visit again.
Wow, this is my new favorite place! I only wish I lived in DC. I was visiting from SC, and I stumbled across this precious gem! I was impressed from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was busy, the aroma of authentic cuisine smelled delicious, the music was fun, and I was welcomed by the friendliest hostess named Jessica! After I was seated at a table, Jessica took the time to ask if it was my first visit, then proceeded to give a thorough description of their menu and went over her favorites to help me decide! The food was spectacular, and the staff was attentive! I can’t say enough positive things! You won’t be disappointed!!! Thank you for a memorable experience, can’t wait to come back!
Always love the food at nandos! This location is new though and has a brighter and different layout with partial table service. You order with a QR code but are seated by a host. They have a bar here as well. Not sure if I'm a huge fan of the new layout so docked a star for that. But otherwise, good experience with the food and there's new menu items like mac and cheese that's really good!
This was my first time at this particular Nando's; been to many others including UK. The service at this location was sublime and the food was excellent. The two people who served us, Samiyah and Kamiyah, were both excellent and they added you my family's wonderful experience.
The food came out less then 15 minutes and both of the server that I mentioned always checked on us to see if we needed anything. The place is very clean.
We wouldn't hesitate to come back to location in the future.
Nando’s is a seriously addictive grilled chicken place. Pictured is the full chicken with garlic bread and mac & cheese.
They have a variety of sauces, from mild to spicy, and their rooibos peach tea is awesome.

The menu items were generally low carbs and caters to dietary restrictions. The people were professional and attentive. The overall vibe was exciting and energetic. Their grilled chicken had the crispy chard flavor in every bite.
I ordered the rainbow vegetarian bowl. The food was great! I really loved the combination of tastes including the peri peri sauces.
Really recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood!
Amazing food, amazing vibe! No wonder this chain is Niall Horan’s favorite — and rumor has it that the Jonas Brothers dined here recently too 🌟 We loved the vegetarian burger (hot!), the fries, and the cauliflower bites. The service was great too. We’ll definitely be back!
Overall nando peri peri in Washington, DC was really good. I was only disappointed that my food was cold. Maybe next time ill try staying inside restaurant. One of chicken had a great heat. I actually loved the plain one. It was perfect amount of spice. The fries are very tasty with a good kick.
