La Colombe Coffee Roasters

Good coffee, minimal seating. We had to sit outside because there was no other indoor seating during the mid afternoon. I was surprised because it thought it would be a quiet time. There’s cute outdoor seating across the street, though. They have a lot of merch which is nice right now because it’s the holidays.

Good coffee and great environment overall. I will say the space is slightly congested, but I’m also big guy so I don’t think this is an issue for most folks. I got their standard drip coffee which was nice. I tried to use the restroom and for some reason it wasn’t locked from the inside and a man was using it. Safe to say, it was embarrassing. Regardless, I think it’s a neat little coffee shop with the wood theme and a cozy vibe on Capitol Hill. Would recommend!

My coffee journey began with brewing La Colombe at a Shakespeare Theater in Brooklyn. I was extremely happy to have found the actual coffee shop in DC! You should expect a real rustic feel with the brick wall accents throughout the store. I adore an authentic espresso machine and this shop has it! I also love when you’re sitting in. You get a real coffee mug and some cute latte art❤️ My only suggestion is when I’ve come twice and ordered a latte with lite foam, on both occasions I felt like I was drinking a cappuccino 🥲I truly love more silky milk rather than foam. But other than that… great experience👍🏾
