Chop't Creative Salad Co

It's basically a fancy salad bar. You choose a base of warm rice/grains, cauliflower rice, or various cold greens, like kale, romaine lettuce, etc... Then choose your favorite salad toppings (e.g. sweet potato, carrots, olives, broccoli, corn, black beans, edamame, green pepper, spicy roasted red pepper), and protein (tofu, egg, cheese, chicken, or meat), and dressing. The dressing varieties are very good, including tahina, green goddess, and spicy varieties. The bowl comes with a very small piece of whole grain toast.

I always enjoy my experience at Chopt. Even though the company has changed their menu and removed my favorite salad dressing (TexMex Ranch), the staff members were able to make recommendations on a suitable substitute. They were very pleasant about it and even allowed me to sample the new dressing they chose. As a busy professional, Chopt is a great (healthy) lunch option to pick and choose what works best for me. I really like this restaurant and I’ve been a loyal customer for nearly ten years.

We had a salad here for lunch. My salad (left) was the Santa Fe. It is fast and not too unhealthy fastfood. Nice for a quick lunch, a little expensive. I didn’t like that the staff uses the same gloves for taking the salad in your bowl and taking the money and payment afterwards. There should be different people for that or they take off the gloves.
