Service, food and atmosphere is amazing here.y fiance and I go almost every week we love it so much. It's the same people working and they're all seriously so nice. It's small, so would not recommend for large parties unless you come at an off hour time, but it's perfect for an impromtu date night if you want some really good food and drinks.

A great little bar on 8th St. The places is not very large but they have an awesome beer selection. Lots of good local beers (and some from farther away) to choose from. They have a jukebox in the back to play music. The food is pretty good as well, very burger focused but they do also have a veggie burger. Happy hour prices are great, and the selection of beers that are discounted for happy hour are often awesome.

Absolutely love this place. Small, intimate, interesting design/decor. Our server Brian was one of the nicest waiters ever. There's a free jukebox in the back. All their drinks were delicious, try the one with lavender, it's like a summer witch elixir. Everything we ordered was ON POINT ! Flavor combinations were perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant, and wish we were not just visiting so we could come back again and again. Guess there will be more DC trips in our future.

Phenomenal and surprisingly blown away by the quality and taste of the fare. The fried avocado is the best version I've had, the pastrami fries were truly a religious experience, and the pork belly nachos were delightfully delicious with just the right amount of spice (very mild for this hot sauce enthusiast but my 8 year old had no problem chowing down and he's not nearly as tolerant as I am) on top of incredible mixed drinks and then the burger, I had the El Jefe which is a chorizo patty, it was incredible and unique especially while topped with imported Danish Bleu cheese Lastly, we ordered some chicken wings to see how they're done here, and my goodness the crispness was divine with sauces to dip instead of smothered to preserve the wonderful batter layer, that was lovingly coating what is happily organic chicken, evidenced by the lack of gigantic muscle on the bone that typically can only be achieved with the use of antibiotics and other artificial enhancements. The staff was friendly and engaging and you could tell they are intimately involved with the processes as our server was knowledgeable to the point of knowing how many hours each of the meats are prepared for. Simply wonderful and I highly recommend.

Sort of a small plates burger place. Excellent avocado fries. I had The Cure w/out the apple relish. I loved it. My wife raved about the Pimento Burger. I had a few bites as well -- fantastic. Nonalcoholic drinks are cans, no fountain drinks.

Come for the burgers and stay for the free jukebox, you won't be disappointed. Eatbar has serves some of the best burgers in DC. If you're in the neighborhood and jonesing for a burger definitely stop in. The burgers are wonderfully cooked to juicy temperature and come with an interesting variety of toppings. Eatbar also has a very nice rotating draft list of 15+ beers from craft brewers from all over the country. If you don't find anything you like on the draft list Eatbar carries a very extensive bottle and can list of adult beverages as well.

Eatbar is probably a better happy hour spot opposed to dinner. It's self-seating - and the venue is modern. Service was a bit slow, but on no fault to the staff - the bartenders was also serving the tables, this is something management should reevaluate based on my visit. Food was good, but portions are small (the fries especially were perplexingly small). I'd go back for happy hour but not for a meal.
